Karlsson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Piper's half guard.

Piper is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Liddell makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Earp steps into range and cracks Liddell with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Liddell flops backwards and Earp dives into his guard looking to finish!

Earp passes Liddell's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Liddell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Earp.
Earp doesn't manage to clinch there - Liddell circles away.

Earp rushes Liddell with punches - Liddell moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Liddell goes down! Earp follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
