 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Javis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zimmer manages to avoid it. Zimmer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Javis is fending him off so far but Zimmer persists. Nope, Javis circles away and we're back to standing. Zimmer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Javis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zimmer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Javis leaves Zimmer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zimmer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Zimmer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Zimmer throws a strike but Javis avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Javis wants to get back to his feet but Zimmer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Zimmer throws a big right hand that misses. Zimmer throws a strike but Javis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Zimmer wants to stand up but Javis is controlling him.

Javis gets to his feet. Zimmer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Javis looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Javis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zimmer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Javis is looking to clinch but Zimmer is avoiding it.

Javis has had enough of the clinch but Zimmer keeps him there for the moment. Zimmer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Javis ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Zimmer looks gassed! Javis is looking to clinch. Javis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zimmer was well out of range. Poor timing from Javis. Zimmer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zimmer takes one to the chin there. Dace Javis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Javis tries to clinch but Zimmer moves out of range. A slapping body kick lands there for Javis. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Javis scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Javis with a body punch. A glancing blow. Javis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Javis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Zimmer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Javis works Zimmer's body with a nice hook. Good exchange - Javis coming out on top. A jab from Javis does it's job there. Zimmer keeps the fight on the outside. Javis throws a series of punches but Zimmer moves out of range. Javis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zimmer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Javis fails in his attempt to clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Zimmer. Javis thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Zimmer if he has to take too many more of those.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Javis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jab by Javis. Javis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Javis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Zimmer's calf. Javis connects with a solid leg kick. Javis fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Javis misses with the combination.

Javis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Javis misses with a body kick. Javis throws a nice looking combination but Zimmer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Javis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zimmer can do to turn this around? Javis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Javis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Javis. Javis scores with a nice head shot. Dace Javis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No joy there for Javis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Zimmer walks into a straight right hand from Javis. Zimmer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Javis to score with a decent uppercut. Zimmer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zimmer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nice shot lands for Javis. Zimmer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Javis but Javis pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dace Javis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Zimmer. Zimmer has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Javis. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Decent striking displayed by Javis there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Javis lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Zimmer works over Javis's head and body with a nice combination. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Ortega shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Penn's guard. Ortega is looking to work some ground and pound but Penn has wrist control. Ortega throws a big right hand that misses. Ortega has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

 It looks like Lu Vitone has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vitone fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Both fighters circling a little - Maseco finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Vitone ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Maseco throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Vitone stumbling backwards into the cage! Vitone bounces back off the cage towards Maseco, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Maseco lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Maseco celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Bach does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Eugene Fama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fama cracks Bach with a right hand to the side of the head.
 It looks like Harry Bach has been cut. Bach rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fama moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jab from Fama. Bach lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Fama on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fama darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bach scores a takedown into full mount! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bach lands a big shot there that rocks Fama but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bach throws and elbow that misses. Fama uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bach's guard. Nice move by Fama! Bach is trying to control the position from the bottom.
