DeLoria is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Russel is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Russel flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. DeLoria anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Russel and secures both hooks! This could be bad! DeLoria slips an arm under Russel chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. DeLoria has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. DeLoria is squeezing on Russel like an anaconda would it's prey. Russel fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Vendetta does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Vendetta feints and then cracks Kusela's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kusela down.
Kusela slips a straight right by Vendetta.
Kusela keeps the fight on the outside.
A head kick misses from Vendetta.
Kusela steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vendetta.

Kusela closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kusela got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vendetta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kusela has managed to get both his arms back between Vendetta's legs - danger averted.
