The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collins thows a body shot but no joy. Collins throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Collins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Stallone looks to land a combination but Collins avoids it well. Stallone throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Collins counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Stallone looks gassed! Collins misses with a few strikes there.
The fighters circling - Collins throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Collins drops Stallone with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Stallone! Collins dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Nemecek tries to hold on but Calibri postures up. Calibri takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Nemecek is looking to improve his position but Calibri isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nemecek wants to control but Calibri is having none of it. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Calibri can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nemecek is breathing heavily. Calibri distracts Nemecek with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Nemecek not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Nemecek can't do much from the bottom here. Nemecek sneaks back into half guard. Nemecek is staying active underneath Calibri, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nemecek trying to hold on to Calibri's head to control him but Calibri postures up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Giuseppe Calibri will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Nemecek tries to move to mount but Calibri blocks the move with his legs. Calibri struggling a bit here. Nemecek thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Nemecek goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Calibri rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Nemecek's guard! Nice work there by Calibri!

Calibri tries to free his leg and advance position but Nemecek is retaining full guard. Nemecek lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Calibri! Calibri tries to lock up and control but Nemecek gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Calibri is trying desperately to improve position. Nemecek controlling the pace for now. Nemecek looking to secure an arm triangle but Calibri defends it well. Nemecek controlling his opponent. Calibri tries to control Nemecek's body but Nemecek pushes him off. Calibri squirms to his side and now Nemecek has his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Nemecek trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Calibri is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it. Thomas Nemecek has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Calibri showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nemecek.

Whatts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Whatts shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Whatts showed some decent athleticism there. Whatts looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Matthews with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Matthews gets back to full guard.
Matthews lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Whatts lands a couple of elbows. Whatts working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Matthews is trying to keep Whatts in close.
Matthews has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Whatts is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Matthews has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Whatts is looking to defend but Matthews has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Whatts! Matthews pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Whatts taps out and this one is all over!

Minowa Man had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benatar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Man wants to control from the top but Benatar keeps moving. Man decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Benatar, up you get! Man changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Benatar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Man is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Benatar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Man wants to lay and pray for a moment but Benatar keeps working. Benatar throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Benatar is not content to let Man control the position. Man decides to stand back up. Man steps back and let's Benatar get back to his feet. Man is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man shoots in and bounces Benatar off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Benatar wants to stand but Man is controlling the position. Man has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Benatar is proving hard to escape from. Benatar looking for a sweep. Not yet Benatar, not yet. Man passes into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Benatar can do anything to dispel that myth. Benatar manages to escape and get back to his feet! Man just misses with a punch to the body.

Pat Benatar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Man throws a combination that misses and Man takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Man drives through with a takedown into guard. Man stands and steps away. Benatar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Man tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Man tries for a takedown but Benatar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Man feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Man gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Benatar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Man throws out the jab. Man fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minowa Man. That's going to take a lot out of him. Man throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Man tries to stand but Benatar is controlling from the bottom. Benatar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Man stopping the sweep attempt from Benatar. Man scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Man gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A jab from Benatar does it's job there. Man shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Benatar fails in his attempt to clinch. Benatar is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Benatar lands with a slapping head kick. Man rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Benatar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Benatar fakes the leg kick and cracks Man in the body. A combination from Benatar does no damage. Man rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Benatar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Benatar. Man is trying to break free. Man manages to break the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Man tries to land a leg kick but Benatar saw it coming and moves away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Man looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Benatar! Benatar is trying to escape the mount.
