Jones throws out a loose jab but Cole uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cole tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Cole.

Cole fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jones on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cole throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.
Cole drops Jones with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Jones! Cole dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Freeman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Freeman is trying to escape the position but Dock is controlling the position.
Freeman tries to buck Dock off but Dock is having none of it.

Dock decides to stand back up.
Freeman throws a right hand that Dock ducks under and follows up with a left that Dock also avoids with ease.
Freeman closes the distance and clinches up with Dock, looking for a takedown. Freeman pushes Dock against the cage but Dock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Dock counters with a good low kick that Freeman was not able to check.

Tupper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barbossa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barbossa has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tupper is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Barbossa yanks on the arm and Tupper is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Barbossa.
