The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Atoa finds it's way through Biggun's defenses. Biggun throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Atoa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Atoa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Atoa lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Biggun changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atoa tries to avoid it but Biggun manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atoa to the ground. Atoa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Atoa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Biggun. That did some damage! Biggun misses with a combination
and Atoa counters with a two punch combo. Biggun has his takedown stuffed and Atoa counters with a one-two to the body. Atoa lands a slapping body shot.
Atoa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Atoa tries a low kick but Biggun avoids it. Biggun throws a lazy head kick and Atoa counters with a lovely shot to the body. Biggun throws a big shot that misses. Atoa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Biggun swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Atoa counters with a series of strikes. Biggun will be more careful next time no doubt. Biggun avoids the head kick by Atoa.
Biggun throws a jab when Atoa was well out of range. Biggun with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Atoa to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivor Biggun. That's going to take a lot out of him. Biggun is breathing heavily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Atoa stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Biggun to get to his feet.

Biggun is rocked! Atoa lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Biggun can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Atoa and Biggun drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Atoa.

Ry bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ry is looking to take a break and control but william is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ry staying calm. Ry has hold of william's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! william tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ry cranks the arm and william screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from william, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Chekutimi tries to avoid it but Layman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chekutimi to the ground. Chekutimi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
