The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teixeira shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dos Santos but Dos Santos pushes him off and we're back to square one. Teixeira is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dos Santos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Teixeira shoots in but Dos Santos avoids the takedown attempt easily. Junior Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douglas Teixeira. Teixeira fails with a takedown attempt. Dos Santos fails to land with a series of punches.

Teixeira pushes Dos Santos against the cage but Dos Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Teixeira looks gassed! Teixeira tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dos Santos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Teixeira somewhat. Dos Santos connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Dos Santos connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. This has been an exciting period of action! Teixeira shoots and misses and Dos Santos counters with a nice uppercut. Teixeira is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dos Santos is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Teixeira. Dos Santos drops Teixeira with a beautiful combination! Teixeira stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dos Santos is looking for the KO!

It looks like Douglas Teixeira has been cut. Dos Santos lands an overhand right. Dos Santos sends Teixeira crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dos Santos is motioning to the referee to let Teixeira up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Teixeira is still on wobbly legs! Can Dos Santos finish him? Dos Santos connects with a stiff jab that staggers Teixeira - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Rio lands with a kick to the temple. Hayes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Hayes has taken the fight to the clinch.

Hayes has De Rio pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hayes pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending De Rio tumbling to the mat - Hayes dives into De Rio's guard. Hayes prevents De Rio from getting back to his feet. Hayes is stalling in the full guard. Hayes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hayes blocks a head kick by De Rio.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hayes lands a nice short elbow. Hayes decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Hayes takes a swing at De Rio's ribcage but misses. Juan De Rio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Rio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hayes closes the distance and pushes De Rio back into the cage. Hayes has De Rio pushed against the cage. Good body shot from Hayes.

De Rio pushes Hayes away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hayes gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hayes controlling the position from side mount. Tubby Hayes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hayes has De Rio pressed against the cage, preventing De Rio from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hayes has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed De Rio clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Hayes controlling from the back. Juan De Rio has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hayes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down De Rio for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Tubby Hayes showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hayes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ung feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ung slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ruas is trying to keep Ung in close.
Ung preventing the sweep. Ruas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ruas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ung is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Ruas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Carlos Ruas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kevin Ung is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ung wants the takedown. Ruas is fighting it off but Ung persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ruas's guard against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lima shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lima looking for a guillotine from mount but Belfort is having none of it. Lima seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Belfort is holding on tight.
Lima avoids the attempt from Belfort to control. Belfort working to try and regain half guard.
Lima takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lima is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Belfort to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Belfort shrugs it off.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lima is on top in guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh shoots in and drives through. Fukuyama sprawls well. Fukuyama dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Singh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fukuyama's waist but Fukuyama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Singh off to one side. Fukuyama cracks Singh with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A jab from Fukuyama misses. Fukuyama looks to land a combination. Singh sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Singh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fukuyama circles away quickly and effectively. Powel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Powel closes the distance and clinches up with Won Wick, looking for a takedown. Powel pushes Won Wick against the cage but Won Wick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Won Wick fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Powel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Powel misses with a takedown attempt - Won Wick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Won Wick looks to land a right hand but Powel moved out of range. Some bone on bone action there as Powel checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Won Wick clobbers Powel with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ludwig Won Wick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Powel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Won Wick pinned against the cage. Powel shoots for a double leg takedown but Won Wick sprawls well. He's pushed Powel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Won Wick stuffs the takedown. Won Wick lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Won Wick lands a nice shot that snaps Powel's head back.
Shifiinity Powel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A shot to de liver by Won Wick. Beautiful body shot. Won Wick scores with a push kick.
