 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Canses circles away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rob Canses will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rob Canses's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Rob Canses overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Canses flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Martinez can't hide his disappointment, as Hitz celebrates the victory.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gump throws a shot to the body.
Gump fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Forrest Gump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gump swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gump throws a jab when Kongo was well out of range. Gump closes the distance and clinches up with Kongo, looking for a takedown. Gump pushes Kongo against the cage but Kongo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gump scores with a jab. Kongo acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Gump fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kongo avoids it really well and circles away. Cheick Kongo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Forrest Gump. Kongo stuffs the takedown attempt from Gump. Gump gets slowly back to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Kongo as Gump shoots in.

 It looks like Forrest Gump has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gump looks for a takedown but Kongo sprawls well. Gump fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kongo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Gump shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kongo as he avoids it easily.
Gump decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gump thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kongo's head.  The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gump wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kongo throws a body kick that misses.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A solid leg kick lands there for Kongo.
Gump is still on wobbly legs! Can Kongo finish him? Gump tries to land a body kick
and Kongo counters with a head kick that drops Gump to the mat! Gump scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
 That has opened up Forrest Gump's cut even more. Gump shoots for a takedown but Kongo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Gump seems to have recovered his senses. No luck for Gump with that takedown attempt. Kongo defending well as Gump loads up on a big left hand. Kongo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gump.

 Forrest Gump's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Forrest Gump's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
