The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dillan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dillan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turcotte circles away quickly and effectively. Dillan misses with a wild combination.
Dillan throws a right hand that Turcotte ducks under and follows up with a left that Turcotte also avoids with ease. Turcotte thuds a left hand into Dillan's body. Turcotte gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Turcotte fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dillan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Dillan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turcotte is struggling to control the position. Turcotte goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dillan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Turcotte but great work by Dillan. Dillan stands up. Turcotte connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Dillan misses with the combination.

He's got his arms around Dillan's waist but Dillan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turcotte off to one side. Dillan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dillan misses with a hook. Turcotte ducked under it nicely. Turcotte takes the fight into the clinch. Dillan is trying to break the clinch but Turcotte is controlling him. Turcotte is trying to drag Dillan to the mat but Dillan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Pete Dillan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Turcotte. A bit of stalling here from Turcotte.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dillan lands a hook that snaps the head of Turcotte backwards. Dillan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Dillan wants to break free but Turcotte has control.
Turcotte keeps control of Dillan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Dillan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Turcotte's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dillan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Dillan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dillan misses the shot to the body. Dillan swings and misses with a shot to the body and Turcotte counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Dillan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Dennis Turcotte will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Turcotte drives through with a takedown into guard. Dillan wants to get back to his feet but Turcotte is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dillan can't keep his opponent in guard - Turcotte advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Turcotte looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Turcotte connects with a nice short shot to Dillan's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dillan makes his way to full guard, as Turcotte worked for a kimura.

Turcotte stands and throws Dillan's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dillan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dillan prevents Turcotte from moving into mount. Turcotte is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dillan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Turcotte gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dillan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Turcotte lets go of the hold and Dillan can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simmons closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jackson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Simmons. Simmons is nestled in close to Jackson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Simmons not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Socamo looks to land a right hand but DoUrden moved out of range. DoUrden looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. DoUrden avoids a punch combination nicely.
Amsel Socamo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Socamo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract DoUrden. A jab from Socamo misses. Socamo misses the jab. Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cotton seems to have got his legs back now. Parker chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Rayner wants to improve his position but instead Masatupo has moved into half guard.

Wise lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wise defending well as Richards loads up on a big left hand. Wise lunges at Richards with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Richards's hand. No joy there for Richards, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wise moves out of range of the strikes. Wise cracks Richards on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Richards falls backwards against the cage. Wise follows up with more strikes that drop Richards to his knees. Wise keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Richards! This one is all over!
