The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suzuki doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Suzuki looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Suzuki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Suzuki's legs - danger averted. Suzuki keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Suzuki is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jackson is looking to stand up but Suzuki won't let him. Suzuki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Suzuki would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jackson wants to stand but Suzuki is controlling the position. Jackson is trying to keep Suzuki in close.
Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Suzuki is one step ahead there. Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suzuki on the ground. Jackson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson can't keep his opponent in guard - Suzuki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Suzuki lands a nice short elbow. Suzuki controlling the action here. Suzuki is trying to control. Jackson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Suzuki takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jackson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jackson is breathing heavily.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by George Suzuki. Suzuki closes the distance looking to clinch so Jackson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suzuki is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Suzuki is adopting a defensive guard. Suzuki is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Suzuki breaks the clinch.
Suzuki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Suzuki lands in his opponent's guard. Suzuki showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Suzuki pushes down on Jackson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Suzuki has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Suzuki controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but George Suzuki will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Suzuki stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Suzuki drives through with a takedown into guard. Suzuki forces his way into half guard. Suzuki trying to control the pace. Suzuki working the head and body with strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Suzuki works his way into full mount! Suzuki lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jackson hang on?

and Guy counters with a body kick that stops Griffin in his tracks momentarily. Griffin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Griffin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Guy throws a head kick that Griffin semi-blocks.
Guy digs a good body shot into Griffin's ribs. Griffin just misses with a punch to the body.

Guy tries to move into range but Griffin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Griffin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Griffin connects with a crisp jab. Guy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Griffin circles away quickly and effectively. Guy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Guy looks gassed! Griffin loads up on a big right hand but Guy slips the punch. Griffin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Guy. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Griffin scores with a punch to the head. Griffin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Griffin moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Guy! Griffin continues to tee off on Guy, landing with a left and a right! Griffin connects with a right hand that leaves Guy sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Griffin!

Flay takes a swing at Montez's ribcage but misses.

Montez will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Montez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Flay doesn't seem bothered though. Montez loads up on a big right hand but Flay slips the punch. Flay scores with a spinning back kick! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flay doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Montez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Flay in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Montez on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Hardy Montez's cut is getting worse. Flay gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Flay displaying some good clinch control by pressing Montez up against the cage. Montez throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Flays head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Flay. Flay creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Montez's defenses. Flay can't find room to land a body shot as Montez controls the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. Flay crunches a lovely knee into Montez's ribcage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Montez misses with a body punch.

Hardy Montez's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Nice elbow from Flay. Flay lands an elbow that stopped Montez in his tracks for a moment.

and Halo counters with a good low kick that Forester was not able to check. Halo goes for a high kick. It partially lands. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Halo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Halo throws a leg kick which misses Forester's front leg but catches the back leg as Forester tries to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Forester defends it nicely. Forester checks a leg kick. Forester moves out of range of the body kick from Halo.
Forester lands with a shot to the body. Halo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Forester blocks the body kick.
Halo misses with a takedown attempt and Halo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Edward Forester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cristiano Halo. Forester shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Halo eats them both and turns towards Forester to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Forester cracks Halo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Halo falls backwards against the cage. Forester follows up with more strikes that drop Halo to his knees. Forester keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Halo! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Reed misses with a combination
and Martyn counters with a nice double leg into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Martyn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Reed is looking to stand up but Martyn isn't so interested in that idea. Martyn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Martyn pushes down on Reed's leg and manages to get into half guard. Reed is trying to stand up here but Martyn is controlling him well. Nice strikes from Martyn there. Martyn is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Reed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reed tries to get out of the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Martyn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reed keeps working. Reed is trying to buck Martyn off. Martyn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Reed explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Reed looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Reed is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Martyn reverses the position - he's now on top in Reed's guard.

Martyn trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom. Martyn advances position into side control! Reed is trying to buck Martyn off. Reed tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Reed covering up well under a series of strikes from Martyn.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Martyn looking for the choke from the back. Reed prevents Martyn from getting a body triangle. Martyn misses with a punch to the head. Reed is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Oooh a big shot gets through from Martyn. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Martyn looking for the RNC. Martyn is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Reed defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Reed is trying to get back to his feet but Martyn has full control of the position and if anything, Reed has just worked his way into a worse spot. Reed wants to pass the guard but Martyn is defending well. Reed is nestled in close to Martyn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Reed working over Martyn with some ground and pound. Martyn looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Reed looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Martyn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rum connects with a jab. Bone waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rum. No joy there for Rum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rum swings for the body but Bone moves out of range.
Rum misses with a right hand and Rum takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bone connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rum tries to clinch but Bone is having none of it. Rum swings widly with a right hand
and Bone counters with a two punch combo. Rum lands with a right hand. Rum connects with a crisp jab. A punch combination from Bone misses. Rum lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bone circles away quickly and effectively. Rum misses with a looping left. Rum connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bone's hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rum throws a shot from downtown. Bone moves away and avoids it. A jab from Rum misses. Rum tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bone looks to land a combination but Rum avoids it well. A big right from Bone misses. Rum misses with a wild body shot. Rum throws a right and a left that both miss. Rum throws a predictable looking body shot
and Bone counters with a crisp one two that drops Rum! Bone thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rum to his feet! Rum is in big trouble!
Rum is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rum throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bone catches Rum with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Rum forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
