The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myrmidon throws a jab but it's blocked by Hansen.
Hansen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Hansen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Achilles Myrmidon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Myrmidon wants to stand and escape but Hansen is having none of it.

Myrmidon drops back looking for a leg! Hansen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hansen manages to kick Myrmidon off! Myrmidon jumps back into Hansen's guard.

Myrmidon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

A looping hook to the body misses from Myrmidon. Hansen does a little dance to reset his feet.

Oooooh!!! Myrmidon has knocked Hansen down with a huge combo! Myrmidon steps away and waves a wobbly Hansen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Hansen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Myrmidon.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Hansen moves out of range of the strikes.

Myrmidon sends Hansen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Myrmidon is motioning to the referee to let Hansen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Hansen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hansen is holding his hands too far apart here. Myrmidon throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Hansen is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
