Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Werdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike McCallum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Werdum might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Undisputed. Fabricio Werdum looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike McCallum! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.

McCallum paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Werdum looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Werdum showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McCallum.
Jab from McCallum. Nice uppercut lands for McCallum. That snapped Werdum's head back.
Werdum tries to move into range but McCallum moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. McCallum feints a jab promting Werdum to slip. McCallum then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Werdum slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCallum connects with a jab. Werdum takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McCallum connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. McCallum lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. McCallum lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. McCallum's corner calls for a 1-2. McCallum obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. McCallum connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Werdum momentarily.
McCallum clobbers Werdum with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Werdum could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McCallum tests Werdum's chin there with a solid looking shot. McCallum might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Werdum closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Werdum with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McCallum to score with a decent uppercut.

Mike McCallum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McCallum lands a nice shot that snaps Werdum's head back.

Werdum stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but McCallum runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Peterson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Da throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Peterson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Peterson scores with a head kick.

A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Peterson tries to bum rush Da with a series of wild strikes but Da uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A slapping leg kick lands for Peterson.
Da throws a right and a left that both miss. Da takes a kick to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Da misses with a combination
and Peterson counters with a big head kick but Da shrugs it off. Da connects with a body shot that sends Peterson's belly button to the back.

A slow jab from Da misses its intended target. That kick from Peterson tenderised Da's leg. Da is trying to keep his angry face on. Da throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Da chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Peterson can pounce on him.

Peterson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Da throws a left and a right that both miss
and Peterson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Peterson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Peterson lands with a nice combination. Da backs away looking to recover. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peterson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Da. Da swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Peterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Da throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Peterson. A lazy left from Da finds it's target. Peterson lands a head kick. Da smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Da is breathing heavily. A shot to the body from Da misses and Peterson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Peterson! This one is all over!

Griffon looking to score a takedown here. Gump is defending well but Griffon drives through and ends up in Gump's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Griffon scoring with some ground and pound. Gump manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Gump cracks Griffon with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba Gump! Bubba Gump bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

Walsh shoots in and bounces Shepeard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Walsh trying to control but Shepeard is working from the bottom. Shepeard is trying to control the position but Walsh postures up. Shepeard keeping moving, preventing Walsh from controlling successfully. Walsh tries to free his leg and advance position but Shepeard is retaining full guard. Walsh trying to control but Shepeard is working from the bottom.

Shepeard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Helms counters with a takedown into side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Meyer tries to bench press Helms off him but Helms keeps the position. Meyer manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Meyer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Meyer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Helms should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Meyer has tightened it up now! Helms should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Garcia rushes De Vito and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. De Vito is trying to break the clinch but Garcia has him pressed against the cage. Garcia tries to throw a body punch but De Vito avoids it by throwing Garcia back against the cage. Garcia struggles to land a body shot inside as De Vito controls his hands.
De Vito has Garcia pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Garcia manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. De Vito missing with knees to the body.
Garcia pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. De Vito blocks a low kick nicely. Garcia with a jab. De Vito has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Garcia. De Vito tries to clinch there but Garcia circles away.
Garcia gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! De Vito prevents Garcia from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Garcia is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. De Vito is looking to work some ground and pound but Garcia has wrist control. De Vito is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. De Vito landing some decent shots from guard. Garcia wants to stand and escape but De Vito is having none of it.

De Vito takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Garcia thuds his shin into the meat of De Vito's side. Garcia bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! De Vito tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Garcia swivels and escapes. De Vito looks gassed! De Vito takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Garcia pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Garcia tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Garcia throws a head kick that misses. Garcia throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. De Vito has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Garcia. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garcia throws a quick head kick that skims the top of De Vito's head.
De Vito gets tackled into the cage by Garcia. Garcia maintains the clinch. Garcia works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Robert Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John De Vito. De Vito takes a knee to the side of the body. Garcia landing knees to the head.

Garcia lands a good knee to the midsection. De Vito won't want to take too many of those. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Vito takes an elbow to the forehead. Garcia lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Garcia digs a right hand underneath De Vito's ribcage. De Vito let out a lung full of air as it connected. Knees to the body from Garcia.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Garcia dominated that round. The cut man is working on John De Vito's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

That's going to take a lot out of John De Vito. Garcia content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Te Huna moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Matrix is looking to clinch but Te Huna is avoiding it.
Te Huna closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Nice straight punches there by Matrix. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Matrix.
Matrix lands a big uppercut and Te Huna crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Te Huna looks OK. Matrix waves Te Huna back to his feet!

Creed missing with a left hand there. Uleh was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Creed lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Creed. Creed fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Uleh looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Uleh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Creed takes a swing at Uleh's ribcage but misses. Creed dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Creed is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Uleh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
