I think Matmat might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to pass tha axe. Mat Matmat could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joe Hughs's chin.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Matmat sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mat Matmat.
Well Hughs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bailey lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Aman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Aman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Aman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aman ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Bailey's jaw. Bailey's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Aman does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Casic.
Casic feints and then cracks Bottoms's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bottoms down.
A telegraphed right hand from Bottoms misses the target.

Bottoms tries to bum rush Casic with a series of wild strikes but Casic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Casic dodges the punch combination from Bottoms.
A right-left combo lands from Bottoms.
Bottoms throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Casic lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bottoms will feel that in the morning.
Casic defending well as Bottoms loads up on a big left hand.

Bottoms shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
