The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romero swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Romero bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Marquez throws a series of punches but Romero avoids them all with ease. Romero throws a good cross that connects.
Romero shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Marquez but Marquez pushes him off and we're back to square one. Marquez swats away the attempt to clinch by Romero. Romero tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marquez swivels and escapes. Marquez slips under a jab. Marquez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Romero tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Marquez is in Romero's guard. Marquez gets to his feet. Romero looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Romero defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marquez. Romero just misses with a punch to the body.

Marquez decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. The fighters circling - Romero throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Romero throws a head kick that misses. Marquez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Romero finds it's way round the side to connect with Marquez's head. Excellent takedown into side control there by Marquez.

Marquez stands up and beckons Romero to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Marquez as Romero shoots in. Romero tries to clinch up and Marquez counters with a nice body shot. Romero shoots and misses and Marquez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Romero tries to clinch there but Marquez circles away.

Marquez throws a nice looking combination but Romero bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Romero stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Romero wants it to stay on the feet. Marquez circles away from the clinch attempt.

Romero tries for a takedown but Marquez circles away easily and Marquez counters with a three punch combo that has Romero backing up. Romero nods at Marquez to acknowledge the strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marquez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Romero. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Romero doesn't manage to clinch there - Marquez circles away.

Marquez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Romero has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marquez has managed to get both his arms back between Romero's legs - danger averted. Marquez stands up from guard. Let's bang! Victor Romero has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Romero fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Marquez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Romero's head backwards. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Romero takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Romero catches Marquez with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
And that's the end of the fight! Juan Manuel Marquez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Marquez winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Copeland lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Copeland connects with a body shot. Copeland tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Swagger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Swagger avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oooooh!!! Copeland has knocked Swagger down with a huge combo! Copeland steps away and waves a wobbly Swagger back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Sully both land. Nice combination. Sully throws a leg kick which misses Snake's front leg but catches the back leg as Snake tries to avoid it. Snake takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Snake looks to land a right hand but Sully moved out of range. Snake takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Snake takes a swing at Sully's ribcage but misses. Sully stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A lazy left from Sully finds it's target. Snake misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sully.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sully throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sully throws a leg kick which misses Snake's front leg but catches the back leg as Snake tries to avoid it. Sully looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Sully ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sully throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Snake throws a low kick but Sully moves out of range easily. Sully fakes the leg kick and cracks Snake in the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snake takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Snake misses the shot to the body. Snake takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Sully fails to land with a series of punches.
Snake gets a double leg takedown into Sully's guard. Snake won't allow Sully to get back to his feet. Sully utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Snake slips nicely into half guard. Snake is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sully is just riding it out for now. Snake eventually gives up the hold. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Snake has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sully defend it? Snake steps over the head and cranks it - Sully is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Snake!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jake Snake! During a confident post fight interview, Jake Snake thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

That sent Stewart stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mongtong throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Mongtong lands a big head kick that sends Stewart tumbling to the mat! Mongtong takes a step backwards and waves Stewart back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Paul Stewart has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice body punch from Mongtong. Oh Stewart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stewart is breathing heavily. Stewart has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mongtong. Mongtong pushes Stewart up against the cage in a clinch. Mongtong lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Stewart takes a knee to the side of the body. Mongtong lands an elbow inside. Clinched against the cage, Mongtong lands a big elbow that drops Stewart! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Stewart is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wong Mongtong! A very excited looking Wong Mongtong made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Shockner is pawing at Karski, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Karski's nose. Karski is badly hurt! Shockner pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Karski tries desperately to hold on but Shockner is relentless in his assault! As Karski receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Shockner away and this one is in the books!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green tries to clinch but fails miserably and Wells connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wells dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Green tries to clinch but fails miserably and Wells counters with a left and a right that stings Green. Wells circles away from the clinch attempt and Wells counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Green takes a shot to the body in his stride.

He tries to recover but Wells pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Green is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Flair sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Solar Flair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ribeiro Gracie. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Zaharn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zaharn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Holmes. Holmes throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Zaharn throws a right and a left that Holmes avoids nicely. Zaharn connects with a body shot that sends Holmes's belly button to the back. Zaharn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Holmes eats them both and turns towards Zaharn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Holmes tries a head kick but it misses.

Zaharn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Holmes loads up on a big right hand but Zaharn slips the punch. Zaharn throws out a leg kick but Holmes moves out of range and Zaharn only half commits. That kick from Holmes tenderised Zaharn's leg. Zaharn is trying to keep his angry face on. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Holmes looks to land a combination but Zaharn avoids it well. Zaharn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice combo by Holmes! Oh, that's hurt him - Zaharn falls to the canvas and Holmes follows him into side control.
It looks like Ray Zaharn has been cut. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Holmes has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Zaharn is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Holmes yanks on the arm and Zaharn is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Holmes.

That last one turned off the lights! Mrando has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
