The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akiyama tries for a takedown but Livingston circles away easily and Livingston counters with a shoot takedown. Akiyama fights it but they end up in guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Akiyama throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Livingston lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Akiyama trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Akiyama tries to land a sweep but no joy. Livingston chips away with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Livingston is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Akiyama working a defensive guard here.
Akiyama keeping moving, preventing Livingston from controlling successfully. Livingston tries to free his leg and advance position but Akiyama is retaining full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Livingston passes Akiyama's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Livingston looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Akiyama tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Livingston has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Livingston wants to finish this one by submission but Akiyama is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Livingston. Livingston looking to secure an arm triangle but Akiyama defends it well. Akiyama is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Livingston is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Akiyama is surviving well by controlling Livingston's body position as best he can. Livingston jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Akiyama manages to avoid the submission attempt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Akiyama is not content to let Livingston control the position. Livingston working away. Livingston trying to control the position but Akiyama is working away. Livingston tries for a kimura but Akiyama is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akiyama is trying to improve his position. Livingston is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Akiyama knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Livingston tries to move to mount but Akiyama blocks the move with his legs. Akiyama is trying to control Livingston's posture but Livingston avoids it. Livingston thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Livingston looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Livingston tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. This has been an exciting period of action! Akiyama is trying to control Livingston's posture but Livingston avoids it. Livingston is working to tighten is grip on Akiyama's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Akiyama has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Livingston is really squeezing tight and eventually Akiyama passes out! Livingston breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Kiedis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kiedis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Saarinen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kiedis somewhat. Saarinen throws a quick inside leg kick. Saarinen lands with a slapping head kick. Saarinen wants to clinch up but Kiedis keeps it at a distance. Petri Saarinen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Williams tries for a takedown but Bicki sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bicki cracks Williams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bicki cracks a nice hook into Williams's ribs. Williams shoots in but Bicki avoids the takedown attempt easily. Williams takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bicki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Williams's guard.

Bicki manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bicki holds on and takes a little breather.

Bicki is looking to improve his position but Williams isn't that keen on the idea. Williams trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Williams avoids the attempt from Bicki to control. Bicki manages to regain half guard. Good work. Bicki is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams's back!

Cavero is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Cavero avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Oh Cavero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters circling - Cavero throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cavero misses the shot to the body. Newman misses with a left hand and Cavero counters with a nice kick to the body. Gomez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gomez closes the distance and clinches up with Kingsley, looking for a takedown. Gomez pushes Kingsley against the cage but Kingsley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gomez throws a series of punches but Kingsley avoids them all with ease. Kingsley throws a front kick aimed at Gomez's knee but Gomez avoids it well. Gomez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kingsley avoids it really well and circles away. Gomez misses with a hook. Kingsley ducked under it nicely. Kingsley throws a one two combo.
Gomez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kingsley was well out of range. Poor timing from Gomez. Kingsley shoots for a double leg takedown but Gomez sprawls well. He's pushed Kingsley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gomez shoots in and bounces Kingsley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gomez stops Kingsley from standing up. Kingsley keeping full guard, as Gomez tries to pass. Gomez prevents Kingsley from getting back to his feet. Gomez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gomez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kingsley wants to stand but Gomez is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gomez slips nicely into half guard. Gomez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kingsley has managed to free his arm - good work. Gomez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gomez is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kingsley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This has been an exciting period of action! Gomez has control of Kingsley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kingsley regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gomez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kingsley is surviving well by controlling Gomez's body position as best he can. Gomez won't let Kingsley get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gomez goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kingsley turns into him and now he's in Gomez's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingsley tries to stand but Gomez is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jose Gomez will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gomez scores a takedown into full mount! You get the feeling that Kingsley really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Kharitonov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brashears circles away quickly and effectively. Brashears throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kharitonov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brashears. Both fighters circling a little - Brashears finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Brashears shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kharitonov but Kharitonov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brashears throws a series of strikes that have Kharitonov backpedaling.
