Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Angry Johnny as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Garcia is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping leg kick lands for Jones.
Garcia is breathing heavily. Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Garcia napping and manages to drive through into side control! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jones remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Jones is chipping away with strikes.

The fighters circling - Hammond throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hammond takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Blimm lands a front kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blimm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Blimm gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Blimm stands and steps away. Hammond gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Blimm lands a leg kick that knocks Hammond off balance momentarily. Blimm clinches up with Hammond and pushes him back against the cage. Hammond has had enough of the clinch but Blimm keeps him there for the moment. Blimm presses Hammond against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Blimm breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blimm ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Blimm no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Ben Hammond has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bam Blimm is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hammond pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Jem is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Well, if Jem is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jem drops an elbow to the side of Leoniel's head. Leoniel trying to control from the bottom.
Leoniel pushes Jem off but Jem dives into side control.
Leoniel is breathing heavily. Leoniel seems a little lost for a moment, as Jem dominates the positioning. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jem stands up and beckons Leoniel to his feet. Jem throws a sloppy head kick and Leoniel moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leoniel tries to sprawl but Jem drives through with a takedown into half guard. Jem is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jem has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Leoniel!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson controlling the position easily from mount. Fernus is bucking up trying to escape but Johnson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Woodley sprawls well. Woodley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Richer gets slowly back to his feet. Woodley shoots for a takedown but Richer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Woodley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard.
