5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sakari Watts! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mylly misses the shot to the body. The fighters circling - Mylly throws out the jab but it was never going to land. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mylly. Watts thows a left - swing and a miss! Mylly with a hook. Watts thows a body shot but no joy. A chopping leg kick lands by Watts. Mylly avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mylly digs a good body shot into Watts's ribs. Watts lands a jab to Mylly's midsection. Mylly fails with a takedown attempt. Watts walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Watts looks to land a left hand but Mylly moved out of range nicely. Watts steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mylly.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Watts avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Watts throws out a loose jab but Mylly uses good head movement to avoid it. Watts jabs Mylly to the body, keeping him at a distance. Mylly shoots in for a takedown but Watts shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A left lands for Watts. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mylly lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Mylly wants to control the pace but Watts is squirming around nicely. Mylly is stalling here but it's allowed Watts to get half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Matt Mylly will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matt Mylly. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mylly, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Pirinen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Calavera avoids it really well and circles away. Calavera lands with a nice combination. Pirinen backs away looking to recover. Pirinen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Desper cracks de Sade with a big right hand but de Sade just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
de Sade is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Desper wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by de Sade, who protects the arm well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jalkalukko crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from De Santana - the referee stops the clock and Jalkalukko gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says De Santana. Jalkalukko manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. No luck for Jalkalukko with that takedown attempt. De Santana misses the jab. De Santana does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jalkalukko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. De Santana misses with a straight left. Jalkalukko shoots in for a takedown but De Santana shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesse Jalkalukko. De Santana tries to avoid it but Jalkalukko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Santana to the ground. De Santana escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jalkalukko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. De Santana was covering up waiting for the punch and Jalkalukko finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Santana looking to control.

Riley has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Trotter regains guard immediately. Trotter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Riley's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Riley managing to control the position. Trotter seems to have recovered his senses. Riley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
