Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus MacKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Machida might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Street fighter theme song by pennywise. Ryu Machida had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacKenzie wants to clinch but Machida slips to the side
and Machida finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Machida throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by MacKenzie.

It looks like Angus MacKenzie has been cut.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from MacKenzie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Machida has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Machida and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Machida is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in MacKenzie's half guard.
Machida tries to pass the half guard into mount. MacKenzie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
MacKenzie pushes Machida off looking to stand but Machida dives back in and keeps control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machida's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Machida changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. MacKenzie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Daebak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sol swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sol has control of Daebak's left arm, preventing Daebak from doing any damage.

Sol looks for a takedown but Daebak sprawls well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kai throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Torres.

Torres misses with a hook. Kai ducked under it nicely.
Kai sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Kai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Torres.
Torres fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kai is out of range.
Kai cracks a nice hook into Torres's ribs.

Kai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Torres walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kai drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Torres swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kai's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
