Payne's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Payne shoots in for a double leg but McKay sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Payne bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McKay's head.
McKay wants to clinch up but Payne keeps it at a distance.
Payne pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sam McKay.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Ernesto Oliveira has been cut.
Oliveira moves in looking to clinch but Cage pushes him off.
Some bone on bone action there as Cage checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Oliveira scores with the left hand. Cage knows he should have avoided that one.
Cage slips a jab and a cross from Oliveira.
Cage on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Oliveira. Oliveira obviously looking to wear him down.
Cage swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Oliveira.
Cage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Oliveira bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Luke Cage has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cage tries to move into range but Oliveira moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Oliveira misses with a looping left.
Oliveira takes one on the button.
Cage closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The fight stays on the outside here - Oliveira looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Oliveira jabs Cage to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oliveira scores with a push kick.
Cage is breathing heavily.
Oliveira misses with a straight left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch but Cage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oliveira needs to keep his hands up - Cage had a free shot at his head there.
Cage takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Oliveira cracks Cage with a hook to the temple - Cage is on wobbly legs here! Oliveira swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Cage falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Oliveira wins by TKO!
