The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strings throws a leg kick but Jackson moved away. Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jackson won't allow Strings to get back to his feet. Jackson trying to control but Strings is working from the bottom. Jackson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Makritsky is in Vemola's guard. Makritskyis looking to pass into half guard but Vemola pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Vemola is in guard. Makritsky is pulling down on Vemola's head. It's preventing any offense from Vemola, at least for the moment. Vemola preventing the sweep. Makritsky sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Makritsky takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Vemola lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Vemola lands with a big right hook that stumbles Makritsky - he's out on his feet here! Vemola follows up with another monster hook that separates Makritsky from consciousness! Makritsky falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Vemola stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gives fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bloome sprawls well initially but Gives persists and gets the takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Gives throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gives seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bloome does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Gives missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gives sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bloome defending well though. Gives trying to control from Bloome's half guard. Bloome has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bloome wants to sweep but no luck. Bloome pulls Gives in close to prevent any damage. Gives postures up in Bloome's guard and throws a big left but Bloome blocks it. Gives trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Donk. Mills catches Zetsu right on the button with a cross. Jab, jab by Mills - just one landing. Zetsu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Mills lands a left and a right that send Zetsu crashing to the mat, dazed. Mills thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Pisa throws a wild body kick that Alcatraz sees coming a mile off. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Alcatraz gets a clinch. Pisa digs a right hand into Alcatraz's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Alcatraz's gas tank. A head punch blocked on the inside by Pisa. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blu Pisa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Robbie Alcatraz's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Alcatraz tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pisa counters with a nice body kick. Alcatraz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pisa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Pisa takes a kick to the side of the head. Pisa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pisa throws a sloppy head kick and Alcatraz moves out of range easily. Alcatraz avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Alcatraz moves out of range of the body kick. Pisa connects with a solid leg kick. Good leg kick by Pisa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Pisa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Alcatraz takes a kick to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Some bone on bone action there as Alcatraz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Alcatraz throws a head kick but Pisa moves out of range.
Pisa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pisa lands with a kick to the temple. Alcatraz shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Alcatraz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Pisa feints and then cracks Alcatraz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Alcatraz down. A big right from Alcatraz misses. Pisa throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Pisa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pisa lands a head kick. Alcatraz smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Pisa scores with a head kick.

Alcatraz cracks Pisa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A left and a right from Alcatraz both land. Nice combination.
Pisa is rocked! Alcatraz thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pisa if he has to take too many more of those.
Pisa is still on wobbly legs! Can Alcatraz finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alcatraz lands an uppercut, right on the button! Pisa tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Robbie Alcatraz! Robbie Alcatraz retains his welterweight title! A relieved looking Robbie Alcatraz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
