The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pumpanmuang sizes up Tucker with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Tucker looks to land a right hand but Pumpanmuang moved out of range. Tucker walks into a stiff left hand from Pumpanmuang. A lazy body kick from Pumpanmuang and Tucker counters with a left to the body. Pumpanmuang connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Tucker swings for the body but Pumpanmuang moves out of range.

Saiyok Pumpanmuang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pumpanmuang throws a nice inside leg kick. A punch combination from Tucker misses. A good leg kick by Pumpanmuang. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pumpanmuang just misses with a punch to the body.

Tucker is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pumpanmuang.
Pumpanmuang throws a sloppy head kick and Tucker moves out of range easily. Pumpanmuang drops Tucker with a naaaaasty hook - Tucker is in real trouble here! Pumpanmuang dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eberstark scores with a hook to the body. Mezgar takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A combination from Eberstark does no damage. Eberstark misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mezgar has a takedown stuffed. Mezgar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mezgar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Eberstark defends it nicely. Eberstark looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mezgar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Eberstark as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Mezgar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Eberstark sizes up Mezgar with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Mezgar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Eberstark as he jumps to the side. Mezgar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mezgar works to advance to full mount. Eberstark defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mezgar thowing shots but they're missing. Eberstark blocking the ground and pound. Mezgar working for a submission but Eberstark is keeping him at bay. Eberstark wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Mezgar.
Mezgar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Eberstark's face.

This has been an exciting period of action! Eberstark is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Mezgar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mezgar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Eberstark is rocked! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mezgar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Eberstark is still in real trouble! Can Mezgar finish him? Mezgar with a couple of short strikes. Mezgar working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Eberstark looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Mezgar! Submission of the night perhaps?

Schulz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rose manages to avoid it. Rose walks into a left hand. Rose looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Schulz is fending him off so far but Rose persists. Nope, Schulz circles away and we're back to standing. Schulz misses with a body shot.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mark Schulz will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Schulz avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rose is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A jab lands there for Schulz. and Schulz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Good work by Schulz as he checks the leg kick.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schulz sends Rose crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Schulz is motioning to the referee to let Rose up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Rose scores with a jab to the body. Schulz checks a low kick from Rose. Schulz cracks Rose with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rose tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Schulz pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rose is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Duddy complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Onki looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Onki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Onki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spivey lands with a nice body punch. Casady takes one to the chin there. Spivey getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Casady takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Casady doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Casady takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Spivey scores with a one two! Casady had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Casady checks the leg kick. Casady is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

A close second round but Bod Zio will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

That didn't work out too well for Zio.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zio is looking for a sweep. Zio is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked von Goldstein off and has taken his back! Zio punches von Goldstein on the ear.
