2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maximo Katakutan! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle shoots in for a takedown but Katakutan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Katakutan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. A low kick from Katakutan misses and Castle counters with a straight right hand. Katakutan misses with a few strikes there.
Castle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Katakutan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Katakutan tried to score with a low kick but Castle checks it. Katakutan throws a head kick but Castle moves out of range.

Nice takedown defense from Katakutan. No joy for Castle on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Castle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Katakutan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Katakutan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Katakutan throws a leg kick but Castle checks it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Katakutan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Katakutan throws a nice outside leg kick. Katakutan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Katakutan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Castle misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Katakutan.

Katakutan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Katakutan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Castle wants to control from the top but Katakutan keeps moving.
Castle decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Katakutan, up you get!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Katakutan managing to control the position.

And that's the end of the fight! Maximo Katakutan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Katakutan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. That will dishearten Mola somewhat. Parker thumps Mola with a low kick. Parker is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Parker moves out of range of the strikes.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Parker can do anything to dispel that myth. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mola advances nicely into full mount. Parker takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker is trying to stand up. Parker working to try and regain half guard.

Breda takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Breda prevents Lubetube from standing back up.
Breda maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lubetube could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Breda has cracked it and Lubetube is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Breda!

Maylan throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Mendes tumbling to the canvas!
 Mendes is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Maylan advances position into side control! Oh Mendes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maylan decides to stand back up. Maylan steps back and let's Mendes get back to his feet. Mendes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Maylan ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Mendes's jaw. Mendes's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Maylan does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

 We're going to have a standup here because Billy Durant wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Petz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

There ya go! Petz lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Durant controls Petz momentarily but Petz frees himself. Petz throwing strikes but missing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Durant pulls Petz in close to prevent any damage. Petz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Durant preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Petz drops back looking for a leg! Durant is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Durant manages to kick Petz off! Petz jumps back into Durant's guard. Petz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Petz seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Petz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Durant keeps working. Petz working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Petz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Petz looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Durant is avoiding damage well.
Petz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Petz throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Woo Petz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Petz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Parks. Parks misses with a two punch combination.
Butcher misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Parks moves into the clinch. Parks throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Butchers head. A short right from Parks. Butcher blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Parks tries to work over Butcher's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Parks decides to pull guard. Butcher passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Parks postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Butcher looks a forlorn figure.

Butcher looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Parks is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Parks stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Butcher to get to his feet. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyoto Parks dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Butcher tries to score a power double leg takedown but Parks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Butcher somewhat.
Parks takes the fight into the clinch. Parks lands a hook to the side of the head. Parks misses with a hook to the ribs.
Butcher has hold of one of Parks's legs. Parks is fighting the takedown attempt but Butcher gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Butcher drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Parks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Butcher has Parks in his guard.
Butcher has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Parks is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Butcher.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Parks gets to mount! Butcher was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Butcher sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Butcher tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Parks has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Parks controlling from mount. Parks working the ground and pound effectively.

Butcher is working hard here to advance position. Butcher regains half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Parks in particular looking to stall. Jim Butcher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Parks decides to stand and escape the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Parks lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Parks lands a nice shot to the body.

Parks pushes Butcher up against the cage in a clinch. Parks misses with a punch on the inside.

Butcher is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Parks still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Parks has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Parks moves into full mount! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Butcher is looking to improve his position but Parks isn't that keen on the idea. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyoto Parks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Parks lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Butcher fails with the takedown
and Parks counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Parks. Parks throws a punch but it's blocked by Butcher. Parks lands a hook to the side of the head. Butcher jumps guard but Parks stands there with Butcher around his waist. Butcher gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Parks can't find room to land a body shot as Butcher controls the action.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Butcher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Parks lands with a right to the head. Parks throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Butchers head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Butcher's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Parks lands a right hand that snaps the head of Butcher backwards.
 Butcher is rocked! Parks tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A quick uppercut on the inside from Parks. Oh Butcher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Still in the clinch, Parks scores with a nice short uppercut. Parks tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Butcher's elbow.
Parks has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Butcher uses from the top position.
Butcher is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Parks is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Parks has escaped and now he's on top!
