3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, The Hulk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky Mountain! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Mountain looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hulk keeps control of Mountain as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hulk has Mountain pressed against the cage.
Hulk misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mountain breaks from the clinch.
Hulk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mountain sprawls well initially but Hulk persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hulk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mountain does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hulk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mountain is just riding it out for now. Hulk eventually gives up the hold. Hulk passes to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hulk avoids the attempt from Mountain to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hulk wants to take his opponent's back but Mountain doesn't allow it. Hulk tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hulk is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Mountain is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). The Hulk! A relieved looking The Hulk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mutou Betrand was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mutou Betrand! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Betrand misses with a takedown attempt and Suzukawa counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Betrand thinking. Betrand on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Mutou Betrand has been cut. Suzukawa throws a lazy right hand but Betrand sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Betrand tries for a takedown but Suzukawa circles away easily and Suzukawa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Betrand takes one to the side of the head.
Suzukawa throws a right hand that misses
and Betrand counters with a shoot takedown. Suzukawa fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Betrand throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Betrand stopping the sweep attempt from Suzukawa. Suzukawa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Betrand on the ground. Suzukawa is working hard here to advance position. Betrand trying to control but Suzukawa is working from the bottom. Betrand tries to free his leg and advance position but Suzukawa is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suzukawa wants to sweep here but Betrand controlling him for the moment. Betrand working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Betrand postures up.
Betrand drops back, looking for a kneebar! Suzukawa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Suzukawa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Suzukawa! Betrand is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Suzukawa's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Betrand manages to get to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Betrand looking to hit a scissor sweep but Suzukawa is one step ahead there. Betrand is looking for a triangle but Suzukawa pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Betrand is on top in guard.
Suzukawa keeping moving, preventing Betrand from controlling successfully. Betrand slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Betrand missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Betrand trying to control the position from guard on top but Suzukawa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Betrand wants to pass the guard but Suzukawa is keeping the position. Suzukawa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Betrand trying to control but Suzukawa is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mutou Betrand was stalling too much, according to the referee. Suzukawa getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Betrand misses with a takedown attempt and Betrand takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mutou Betrand will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mutou Betrand's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Betrand misses with a takedown and Suzukawa counters with a lovely straight right hand! Suzukawa stuffs the takedown. Mutou Betrand is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Suzukawa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Betrand was well out of range. Poor timing from Suzukawa. Betrand fails with the takedown and Suzukawa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Shinichi Suzukawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mutou Betrand. Betrand looks for a takedown but Suzukawa sprawls well. A slow jab from Suzukawa misses its intended target. Suzukawa connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Betrand takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Betrand shoots and misses enabling Suzukawa to counter with a crisp jab.
That has opened up Mutou Betrand's cut even more. Suzukawa is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Betrand gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Suzukawa counters with a lovely straight right hand! Betrand is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot by Suzukawa. Mutou Betrand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Betrand uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Suzukawa. Suzukawa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Betrand misses with a takedown enabling Suzukawa to counter with a crisp jab.
The cut above Mutou Betrand's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Shinichi Suzukawa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Betrand closes the distance and clinches up with Suzukawa, looking for a takedown. Betrand pushes Suzukawa against the cage but Suzukawa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Suzukawa throws an overhand right that lands on Betrand's shoulder, as Betrand tries to avoid the shot. Betrand has his takedown stuffed and Suzukawa counters with a stiff right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Suzukawa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mutou Betrand's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Suzukawa lands with a good body shot. Suzukawa cracks Betrand with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Betrand takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Betrand uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Suzukawa. Suzukawa is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Betrand has his takedown stuffed and Suzukawa counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mutou Betrand's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Shinichi Suzukawa! Jumping up and down and very excited, Shinichi Suzukawa waved his t-shirt featuring - - - - - All Nutrients 160 - - - - -'s logo in front of the cameras.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bill Smith closes the distance and pushes Scott Smith back into the cage. Scott Smith has Bill Smith pressed against the cage, preventing Bill Smith from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Scott Smith tries for a takedown. No joy.

Scott Smith has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bill Smith is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bill Smith is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Scott Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sharp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Doi somewhat. A jab from Sharp does it's job there. Sharp throws an overhand right that lands on Doi's shoulder, as Doi tries to avoid the shot. Doi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sharp as he avoids it easily. Sharp works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Doi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sharp as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshi Doi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Doi shoots in for a double leg but Sharp sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Doi dives in and grabs Sharp's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sharp pushes down on Doi's head and hops out. 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fu Manchu! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manchu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hill avoids it really well and circles away. Hill wants to slow Manchu down by chopping away at his legs. Manchu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hill looks to land a left hand but Manchu moved out of range nicely. Manchu shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hill eats them both and turns towards Manchu to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Bobby Hill has been cut. Both fighters circling a little - Hill finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Hill misses with a wild body shot. Manchu throws a right and a left that Hill avoids nicely. Hill connects with a crisp jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
