The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbosa clinches up against the cage.
TupperII creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Barbosa's defenses.

It looks like Hector Barbosa has been cut.
Barbosa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. TupperII just stands there and leans against the cage.

TupperII pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Barbosa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and TupperII counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
