Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Bobby TupperII! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Barbosa! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barbosa clinches up against the cage. TupperII creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Barbosa's defenses.
It looks like Hector Barbosa has been cut. Barbosa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. TupperII just stands there and leans against the cage. TupperII pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Barbosa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and TupperII counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Barbosa keeping moving, preventing TupperII from controlling successfully. TupperII has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Barbosa is proving hard to escape from. TupperII stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barbosa swivels though and keeps the full guard. TupperII postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. TupperII tries to free his leg and advance position but Barbosa is retaining full guard. TupperII trying to control the position from guard on top but Barbosa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barbosa keeping full guard, as TupperII tries to pass.

Barbosa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. TupperII got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barbosa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, TupperII has managed to get both his arms back between Barbosa's legs - danger averted. TupperII wants to pass the guard but Barbosa is keeping the position. Barbosa might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control TupperII kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Barbosa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but TupperII can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. TupperII loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

No, Barbosa has escaped the position, nice work there. Barbosa regains half guard. Barbosa is staying active underneath TupperII, who seems content to just control the action from this position. TupperII is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

TupperII working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. TupperII goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Barbosa has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for TupperII but great work by Barbosa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sorenson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Uzi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A combination from Uzi does no damage. Uzi scores with a jab. Sorenson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Sorenson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Uzi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Uzi throws a jab but it's blocked by Sorenson. Sorenson wants to clinch up but Uzi keeps it at a distance. Uzi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sorenson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Uzi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sorenson tries to avoid it but Uzi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sorenson to the ground. Sorenson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sorenson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A head kick misses from Pagliera. Kanoa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A shot to the body from Kanoa misses and Pagliera counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pagliera tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kanoa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pagliera closes the distance and clinches up with Kanoa, looking for a takedown. Pagliera pushes Kanoa against the cage but Kanoa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. No joy there for Kanoa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
