The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bautin Jr lands with a good body shot.
Carver misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bautin Jr.

Carver throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carver pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Carver tries to bum rush Bautin Jr with a series of wild strikes but Bautin Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bautin Jr walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bautin Jr, as that shot connected.
Carver fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bautin Jr has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Carver.

Carver moves out of range of the strikes.
Carver throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bautin Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bautin Jr sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Carver lands a left and a right that send Bautin Jr crashing to the mat, dazed. Carver thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Sergei Bautin Jr has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Young gets to his feet and stands over Dawn, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Dawn felt that one! Young unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Dawn from any more punishment!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leepen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yanagi shoots in and drives through. Leepen sprawls well.
Leepen throws a hook but Yanagi blocks it.
Leepen slaps away a takedown attempt from Yanagi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Leepen. Yanagi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Leepen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yanagi.
Yanagi doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Leepen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Krisu Leepen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryuken Yanagi.
Leepen lands with a shot to the body.
Horrible takedown by Yanagi or perhaps it was just good defense by Leepen which made him look bad.
Leepen misses with a body shot.

Yanagi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Leepen did well to prevent Yanagi getting side control.

Yanagi is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Leepen!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poor strikes thrown by Yanagi there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Yanagi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Leepen hang on?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leepen is in a horrible position here. Yanagi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

A big strike lands for Yanagi! That's really hurt Leepen and he's turned his back - Yanagi keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Yanagi jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

A less than humble Ryuken Yanagi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Batistuta misses the shot to the body.
Batistuta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vaughn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vaughn misses with an uppercut.
Vaughn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Batistuta darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Vaughn tries to kick Batistuta off but Batistuta keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Vaughn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Batistuta on the ground.

Batistuta seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Vaughn has recovered full guard.
Batistuta trying to control but Vaughn is working from the bottom.
Batistuta postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Vaughn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Batistuta's guard.
Vaughn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Batistuta is proving hard to escape from.

Vaughn is posturing up here but Batistuta has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Vaughn tries to roll out but it's too tight and Vaughn has to tap! Slick submission there by Batistuta!

A relieved looking Carlos Batistuta thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
