The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Livington.

Rock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Livington napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Livington tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rock wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Livington manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Livington is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rock sees it coming and defends easily.

Livington has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rock defend it? Livington steps over the head and cranks it - Rock is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Livington!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cruz connects with a nice short shot to Wanatabe's temple.
