The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carwin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Carwin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Carwin gets caught flat footed, as Machine shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Machine content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Machine working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Machine working some strikes from top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Machine's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Machine stops Carwin from standing up. Machine landing with the ground and pound. Machine with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Machine is looking to work some ground and pound but Carwin has wrist control. Machine trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Carwin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Machine on the ground. Machine's corner is telling him to maintain position. Machine working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Carwin's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carwin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Machine controls the pace.

Blast uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pacquiao. Pacquiao shoots for a double leg takedown but Blast sprawls well. He's pushed Pacquiao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Blast throws an overhand right that lands on Pacquiao's shoulder, as Pacquiao tries to avoid the shot. Blast fails to land with a series of punches.
Pacquiao ducks under a wild hook from Blast. Blast doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pacquiao counters with a stiff right hand. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tim Blast. Well Blast has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... LaRussa was covering up waiting for the punch and Bada finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bada preventing the sweep. Bada trying to control the position from guard on top but LaRussa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. LaRussa has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Bada thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bada stands and throws LaRussa's legs to the side, diving into side control. LaRussa parries the strikes from Bada easily there. Bada is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable LaRussa to escape.
Bada has hold of LaRussa's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! LaRussa tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bada cranks the arm and LaRussa screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from LaRussa, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

York is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Daddy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Daddy shrugs it off. Daddy prevents any damage by holding on tight. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Daddy tries to get out of the position. Daddy is in all sorts of trouble here.

John Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Smith got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hill has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smith has managed to get both his arms back between Hill's legs - danger averted. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hill keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksei Fedorov! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedorov tests Boxer's chin there with a solid looking shot. Boxer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Boxer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fedorov. Boxer misses with an attempted mid kick.
Boxer throws a quick inside leg kick. Fedorov throws a hook but Boxer blocks it. Boxer ducks under a wild hook from Fedorov. Boxer staying out of range there. Fedorov fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice defenses there by Boxer. Fedorov lands a lovely overhand right. Boxer moves forwards but Fedorov connects with a nice, crisp jab. A big left from Boxer misses. Boxer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Boxer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fedorov to score with a decent uppercut. A shot to de liver by Fedorov. Beautiful body shot. Boxer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Boxer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedorov misses with a looping right. Fedorov throws a lazy right hand but Boxer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Fedorov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fedorov sizes up Boxer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Fedorov just misses with a punch to the body.
Boxer ducks under a wild hook from Fedorov. Fedorov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Fedorov throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Aleksei Fedorov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boxer thumps Fedorov with a low kick. Boxer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fedorov.
Boxer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Boxer defending well as Fedorov loads up on a big left hand. Fedorov sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Fedorov looks gassed! Boxer explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boxer lands a head kick. Fedorov smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Boxer scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Boxer lands a big head kick that sends Fedorov to the canvas! Boxer follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
