Carlo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Carlo closes the distance and clinches up with Eastmond, looking for a takedown. Carlo pushes Eastmond against the cage but Eastmond circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Eastmond lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheers as Eastmond lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carlo doesn't seem phased though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carlo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eastmond's waist but Eastmond gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carlo off to one side.

Carlo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eastmond is fending him off so far but Carlo persists. Nope, Eastmond circles away and we're back to standing.
Eastmond keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Carlo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Eastmond manages to work his way to half guard, despite Carlo's best efforts.
Carlo is trying to control the action in half guard but Eastmond is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Eastmond regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Carlo.
Eastmond bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carlo's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Belmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belmont kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hurt - Johnny Cash. Edwards has chosen The Who - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mark Edwards was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Belmont is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Edwards looks calm but he's in trouble here. Belmont gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Edwards is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Belmont lets go of the hold and Edwards can pop his arm back in it's socket.
