1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boca Naga! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naga ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Da Silva moves away. Naga tries to sprawl but Da Silva drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Da Silva is keen to just control but Naga is a slippery customer. Da Silva is controlling the pace.
Da Silva prevents Naga from improving his position. Da Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Da Silva keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Jose Da Silva has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Naga bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Da Silva is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Naga wants to stand up but Da Silva is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Da Silva looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Da Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Naga is looking to control the position but Da Silva frees his trapped leg and locks up an armbar from the bottom! It looks tight! Naga grimaces and holds on for a second but is forced to tap or have his arm broken! Slick Jiu Jitsu from Da Silva there - Naga really paying for some sloppy defensive work!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Screwdriver shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Screwdriver wants to control but Rolland is keeping him busy. Screwdriver performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rolland is staying active underneath Screwdriver, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Screwdriver throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Screwdriver takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Screwdriver throwing shots but Rolland is blocking nicely. Screwdriver is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Rolland avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Screwdriver.

Rolland keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Screwdriver thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Screwdriver is just content to waste time from the top position. Rolland takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Screwdriver throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rolland works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rolland is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Screwdriver has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. Screwdriver is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Screwdriver wants to free his trapped foot but Rolland is holding on for dear life with his legs. Screwdriver perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Screwdriver throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Screwdriver is trying to control. Rolland wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Nice strikes from Screwdriver there. Screwdriver is pressing down on Rolland's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rolland is holding on for now. Screwdriver winds up and cracks Rolland with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Matt Screwdriver overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rolland is breathing heavily. Screwdriver working away from the top, dropping strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Screwdriver can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rolland is looking to escape. BOOM! Screwdriver connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Screwdriver lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lykke missing with a left hand there. Michaels was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lykke tries to clinch but Michaels moves out of range. Lykke looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lykke wants to clinch. Lykke moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Lykke digs a good body shot into Michaels's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lykke takes a swing at Michaels's ribcage but misses. Lykke fails in his attempt to clinch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Lykke scores with a jab to the head.
Lykke works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lykke shoots for a double leg takedown but Michaels sprawls well. He's pushed Lykke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lykke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Michaels looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Michaels has a takedown stuffed. Devonte Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lykke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Michaels misses with a takedown attempt and Lykke cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Michaels shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lykke as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devonte Michaels. That's going to take a lot out of him. Michaels fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Michaels stuffs the takedown attempt from Lykke. Lykke gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michaels fails with the takedown. Lykke scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Michaels gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lykke counters with a left to the body. Michaels throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lykke was covering up waiting for the punch and Michaels finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Michaels got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lykke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Michaels has managed to get both his arms back between Lykke's legs - danger averted. Lykke wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Abulak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Abulak won't allow Alvarez to get back to his feet. Abulak is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Abulak stops Alvarez from standing up. Abulak slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Abulak drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Abulak seems to have locked his on tight now - Alvarez screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Abulak, as he picks up the win!
