The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sergienko's guard.

Sergienko has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sergienko on the ground.
Williams wanted to stand there but Sergienko had control of the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Grimes finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Jorge Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruz takes a swing at Grimes's ribcage but misses.
Grimes throws a series of punches but Cruz moves out of range.

Cruz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Grimes lands a leg kick that knocks Cruz off balance momentarily.

Cruz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Grimes can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grimes lands a big head kick that sends Cruz tumbling to the mat! Grimes takes a step backwards and waves Cruz back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jorge Cruz has been cut.
Cruz walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Grimes! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Buster Grimes really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that STEEL PENN'S 160 OF STEEL $50 Hilo logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
