1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Rasthio! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasthio keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cotton tries to bum rush Rasthio with a series of wild strikes but Rasthio uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rasthio darts in and clinches Cotton up against the cage. Rasthio decides to pull guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rasthio keeping full guard, as Cotton tries to pass. Cotton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cotton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cotton trying to control but Rasthio is working from the bottom. Rasthio is adopting a defensive guard. Rasthio working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cotton.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasthio wants to sweep but no luck. Rasthio wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Cotton preventing the sweep.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rasthio forces Cotton back against the cage and clinches. Rasthio jumps guard and drags Cotton to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Cotton drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rasthio dives on top into guard. Rasthio trying to control but Cotton is working from the bottom. Rasthio makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cotton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cotton controls Rasthio momentarily but Rasthio frees himself. Cotton working for a triangle but Rasthio defends it easily.
Rasthio scoring with some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cotton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rasthio stopping the sweep attempt from Cotton. Cotton has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rasthio doesn't defend quickly enough and Cotton has managed to lock this one up! Can Rasthio escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cotton on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munakas throws a half hearted mid kick. Munakas throws a half hearted mid kick. Munakas dips to his left and cracks Tully with an uppercut! Munakas throws the kick towards the body but Tully avoids it. A swing and a miss from Munakas. Tully ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tully has managed to clinch.
Tully cracks Munakas with a nice body shot. Tully pushes Munakas back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A bit of stalling here from Tully.
Munakas is looking to control Tully's arms but Tully gets an underhook and turns him. Now Munakas has his back to the cage. A body shot lands from Tully.
Tully lands a nice shot to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice body punch from Tully - that landed with a thud.

Tully stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Munakas is breathing heavily.

Munakas tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tully avoids it. Tully lands a left hand that snaps the head of Munakas backwards. Tully lands a shot to the body. Tully lands a left hand.
Munakas swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tully's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Tully lands a left hand that snaps the head of Munakas backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tully works on Munakas's body with a couple of short punches. Munakas tries to land knees in the clinch but Tully avoids the damage to the body. Munakas tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tully avoids it. Munakas is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tully is defending well for now. Good body shot from Tully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Munakas throws a head punch that misses. Still in the clinch, Tully scores with a nice short uppercut. Munakas is trying to force a seperation but Tully has the dominant position. A bit of stalling here from Tully.
Tully throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Munakass head. Tully is pushing Munakas up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Tully lands with a left to the head. Tully lands an elbow inside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tully stalls. Munakas with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Tully lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tully. The referee is keeping an eye on Tully - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Tully dips a shoulder and cracks Munakas with a mighty uppercut! Munakas falls back against the cage and Tully unloads with a barrage of strikes! Munakas is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Tully screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

A very excited looking Brynden Tully made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Califf keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pentele scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Califf takes one to the chin there. jp Califf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Califf slaps away a takedown attempt from Pentele, before circling back to the center of the mat. Pentele throws a poor cross that misses
and Califf counters with a three punch combo that has Pentele backing up. Pentele nods at Califf to acknowledge the strikes. Pentele fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Califf manages to avoid it. Califf gets in close and instigates a clinch. Pentele tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Califf lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Pentele is looking to improve his position.
Califf escapes and gets back to his feet. Califf looking to score a takedown here. Pentele is defending well but Califf drives through and ends up in Pentele's guard. Califf looking to pass the guard. Califf trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pentele's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Califf wants to control from the top but Pentele keeps moving. Pentele is looking for a triangle but Califf pushes his legs off easily.

Califf is aware though and is defending well. Califf stays in close to Pentele's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Califf stopping the sweep attempt from Pentele. Califf has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pentele lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Califf! Pentele trying to control but Califf is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pentele has hold of Califf's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Califf manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pentele breaks from Califf's wrist control and lands an elbow. Pentele putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Califf tries to reverse the position but Pentele maintains control. Pentele trying to control but Califf is having none of it. Pentele wants to finish this one by submission but Califf is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pentele.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Califf is just holding on here. Pentele manages to take his back.
Pentele throwing wild punches that miss their target. Pentele looking to break Califf's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Califf remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pentele will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Pentele's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pentele is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Pentti Jr Pentele dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pentele gets caught napping as Califf dives in and scores a takedown. Pentele manages to retain guard. Pentele escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Califf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Califf gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Pentele shoots in and gets a takedown into Califf's guard. Pentele wants to control from the top but Califf keeps moving. Califf wants to sweep but no luck. Pentele missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Pentele wants to control from the top but Califf keeps moving. Pentele throws a big elbow that misses. Pentele trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pentele is fighting to break Califf's control of his arms but Califf is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

No luck so far. Pentele slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Pentti Jr Pentele was stalling too much, according to the referee. Califf moves into the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Pentele can't find room to land a body shot as Califf controls the action.
Califf tightens his grip and picks Pentele up, before dumping him to the ground. Pentele manages to land in guard. Pentele wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Califf wanted to stand there but Pentele had control of the position. Pentele looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Califf passes into side control.

Califf wants to control for a moment but Pentele uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A close second round but Pentti Jr Pentele will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Califf lands with a nice body punch. Pentele fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Califf sprawls well initially but Pentele persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Pentele takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Califf wants to get back to his feet.
jp Califf has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pentti Jr Pentele is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Califf is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pentele pulls his head out easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Pentti Jr Pentele comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Pentele winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Joz with a poor takedown and Sexyama decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Joz's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Sexyama tries to free his leg and advance position but Joz is retaining full guard. Sexyama drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sexyama jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sexyama drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sexyama seems to have locked his on tight now - Joz screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sexyama, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cobretti, as that shot connected.
Cobretti misses with a right hand and Mulhall counters with a left to the body. Cobretti steps into range and cracks Mulhall with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Mulhall flops backwards and Cobretti dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Peter Mulhall has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cobretti's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Oh Mulhall is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Cobretti looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Cobretti passes Mulhall's left leg - he's now in half guard. Cobretti lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mulhall quite badly. Mulhall pulls Cobretti in close trying to recover. Cobretti postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mulhall on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mulhall doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Amir complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Durrant shoots in looking for a takedown but Do manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Durrant's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Durrant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Do manages to avoid it. Do throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Durrant was covering up waiting for the punch and Do finishes the takedown easily into guard. Do pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Durrant is keeping the position for now. Durrant is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Do is aware though and is defending well. Do trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. That's three minutes gone in the round. Do winds up and cracks Durrant with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Do lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Durrant! More strikes land and this one is all over! Do jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Jonny Do decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kukkonen checks a low kick from Barry. Barry throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Barry misses with a body shot.
Barry is looking to clinch but Kukkonen is avoiding it.
Kukkonen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kukkonen lets loose with a powerful body kick. Barry will feel that in the morning. Kukkonen cracks Barry with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Kukkonen checks a leg kick. Barry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kukkonen.
Kukkonen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Barry if he has to take too many more of those.
Barry looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barry walks into a straight right hand from Kukkonen. Kukkonen lands with a big right hook that stumbles Barry - he's out on his feet here! Kukkonen follows up with another monster hook that separates Barry from consciousness! Barry falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kukkonen stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

After the fight, Rauni Tuulikki Kukkonen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
