4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Neal Caffrey! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caffrey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cyder sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Caffrey somewhat. Caffrey shoots in but Cyder avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cyder tries to clinch but Caffrey moves away and Caffrey counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Caffrey. Cyder lands a nice knee to the body. Cyder misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Caffrey.
Caffrey gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cyder regains guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Innaus. Innaus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Randy gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Innaus wants to get back to his feet.
Innaus is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Randy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Innaus kicks Randy off and gets back to his feet. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Innaus. Randy shrugs it off though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Innaus scores with a hook to the body. Randy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Innaus throws a nice outside leg kick. Randy is breathing heavily. Randy has his takedown stuffed and Innaus counters with a thumping low kick. Innaus lands a head kick. Randy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Oh Corke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Foley lands with a big right hook that stumbles Corke - he's out on his feet here! Foley follows up with another monster hook that separates Corke from consciousness! Corke falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Foley stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

It looks like Nash Bones has been cut. Kohler throws a looping overhand right but Bones ducks down to avoid it. Kohler throws a jab when Bones was well out of range. Bones staying out of range there. Kohler connects with a body shot. Kohler throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kohler tries to work over Bones's front leg with a kick but Bones checks it. Bones dodges the punch combination from Kohler.

and Bones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kohler's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kohler wants to stand but Bones is controlling the position. Bones drops back looking for a leg! Kohler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kohler manages to kick Bones off! Bones jumps back into Kohler's guard. Kohler is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kohler pulls Bones in to control the position. Bones drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kohler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kohler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kohler!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bones manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kohler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fight stays on the outside here - Muay Thai looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Karelin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Degrizz tries to avoid it but Nuts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Degrizz to the ground. Degrizz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nuts lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Degrizz backs up against the cage.
It looks like Jim Degrizz has been cut. Nuts misses with a takedown attempt - Degrizz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nuts looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Degrizz is fending him off so far but Nuts persists. Nope, Degrizz circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawnkee Nuts. Degrizz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nuts. Nuts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Degrizz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nuts somewhat. Nuts fails with the takedown and Degrizz counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Nuts closes this distance looking for a takedown but Degrizz circles away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nuts. Nuts has a takedown stuffed. Degrizz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nuts shoots in looking for a takedown. Degrizz tries to sprawl out of it but Nuts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Degrizz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nuts shoots in for a takedown but Degrizz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Degrizz leaves Nuts with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nuts shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Degrizz but Degrizz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nuts shoots in for a double leg but Degrizz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. This has been an exciting period of action! Nuts tries to score a power double leg takedown but Degrizz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nuts somewhat. Nuts misses with a combination
and Degrizz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Nuts shoots in for a takedown but Degrizz shows good takedown defense. Nuts gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Degrizz counters with a crisp one two that drops Nuts! Degrizz thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Nuts to his feet! Nuts is in big trouble!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Noel shoots in for a takedown but Zanta shows good takedown defense. Noel fails with the takedown and Zanta finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Noel leaves Zanta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zanta shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Noel defends it nicely. Noel shoots in looking for a takedown.
