6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Braz Serra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Wazowski! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serra fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wazowski sprawls well initially but Serra persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Wazowski is looking to improve his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wazowski can do anything to dispel that myth. Serra working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Wazowski's thigh. Wazowski counters though and makes it back to full guard. Wazowski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Serra throwing strikes but missing. Wazowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Serra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wazowski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Serra throws an elbow that misses. Wazowski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Serra's guard. Nice move by Wazowski! Serra has momentary wrist control but Wazowski slips an elbow through the middle. Wazowski makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Serra is trying to keep Wazowski in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wazowski controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wazowski stands up over Serra, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Serra looking for a sweep. Not yet Serra, not yet. Serra with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Wazowski can't handle though.
Wazowski makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Serra throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Wazowski advances position into side control! Wazowski lands an elbow. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Serra throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Wazowski scoring with punches from side control. Wazowski lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Serra down.

Serra is rocked! Serra tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Wazowski easily slips into full mount! Oh Serra is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Oooooh, big shot lands for Wazowski! Serra is hurt baaadly! Wazowski is firing away with more strikes - Serra is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benser misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Benser throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Ben Zaylor has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Benser throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Benser tries to clinch up. Zaylor is trying hard to land a takedown here. Benser sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Benser gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zaylor to score an easy takedown into full guard. Zaylor stays in close to Benser's body and controls the position. Benser is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zaylor has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Benser is looking to sweep but instead, Zaylor has passed into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zaylor thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Benser's head. Benser wants to get back to full guard. Zaylor passes to full mount! Zaylor connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Zaylor controlling the pace for now. Zaylor working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zaylor controlling the position easily from mount. Zaylor postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Benser looks a forlorn figure.
Benser is desperately trying to improve his position but Zaylor has a good base and remains in mount. Zaylor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zaylor raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaylor tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Zaylor landing strikes from the mount. Zaylor sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Benser is bucking up trying to escape but Zaylor cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The referee warns Benser that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zaylor controlling from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zaylor lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Benser tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zaylor swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zaylor shoots in but Benser avoids the takedown attempt easily. Benser tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Zaylor blocks a head kick by Benser.

Zaylor shoots in looking for a takedown but Benser manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zaylor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Benser lands with an overhand left. Zaylor drives through and clinches with Benser against the cage.
Benser is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Zaylor is defending well for now. Benser is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Zaylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Benser is looking to break free of the clinch but Zaylor has double underhooks. Zaylor is looking to take this one to the mat. Benser's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Benser tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Benser is wriggling around but Zaylor manages to pass to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Zaylor seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Benser for as long as he can get away with. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ben Zaylor. Benser fails with an attempt to clinch.

We're going to have a standup here because Ben Zaylor wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. No luck for Zaylor with that takedown attempt. Benser moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice takedown defense from Benser. No joy for Zaylor on that attempt. Benser throws a body punch but Zaylor moves out of range. Zaylor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Benser's guard. Zaylor showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Benser can't keep his opponent in guard - Zaylor advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Ben Zaylor is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benser is in trouble now - Zaylor has advanced to mount! Benser is in a horrible position here. Zaylor smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Unhinged is trying to defend but Miller finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Unhinged won't allow Miller to pass to mount. Unhinged looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Miller thows a huge punch but Unhinged dodges it nicely.
Miller is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Unhinged is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Unhinged is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Miller has latched onto it... Big trouble! Miller pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Unhinged is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Miller!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaizer throws a nice inside leg kick. Burnett takes a shot right to the bread basket. A chopping leg kick lands by Kaizer. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kaizer's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kaizer duly obliges.
It looks like Steven Burnett has been cut. Burnett is breathing heavily. Burnett slips a jab and a cross from Kaizer.
Burnett fails with a takedown attempt. Kaizer lands a left and a right that send Burnett crashing to the mat, dazed. Kaizer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Kaizer thumps Burnett with a low kick. Kaizer throws a head kick that misses. Burnett fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kaizer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Burnett on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kaizer looks to land a combination but Burnett avoids it well. Sloppy strikes from Kaizer. Those never looked like landing. Burnett shoots in for a double leg but Kaizer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Burnett. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kaizer throws a series of punches but Burnett avoids them all with ease. Kaizer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Steven Burnett's cut is getting worse. Kaizer feints and then cracks Burnett's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Burnett down. Burnett dives in and grabs Kaizer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kaizer pushes down on Burnett's head and hops out. Oooooh!!! Kaizer has knocked Burnett down with a huge combo! Kaizer steps away and waves a wobbly Burnett back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Will he be able to recover?!! Burnett throws a right and a left that both miss. Kaizer throws a head kick that misses. Burnett seems to have got his legs back now. Kaizer fakes the leg kick and cracks Burnett in the body. Kaizer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Burnett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Burnett takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A decent looking body kick lands there for Kaizer. Kaizer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kaizer's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kaizer duly obliges.
Steven Burnett's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Good standup being displayed there by Kaizer as he connects with a hook. Kaizer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Burnett is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kaizer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kaizer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Burnett moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kaizer throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Kaizer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Burnett. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Kaizer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Burnett takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Burnett closes the distance and clinches up with Kaizer, looking for a takedown. Burnett pushes Kaizer against the cage but Kaizer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kaizer punishes Burnett's body with a nice straight punch. Both fighters circling a little - Kaizer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kaizer lands with a kick to the temple. Burnett shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Burnett shoots in looking for a takedown but Kaizer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Burnett's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kaizer keeps Burnett at a distance using the push kick. Kaizer throws a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck for Burnett with that takedown attempt. Kaizer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Kaizer scores with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Burnett or perhaps it was just good defense by Kaizer which made him look bad. Kaizer explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Burnett will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kaizer. Burnett shrugs it off though. Kaizer lands a jab to Burnett's midsection. Burnett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaizer pinned against the cage. Kaizer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kaizer lands a jab to Burnett's midsection. Kaizer is working the combinations to good effect here. Kaizer misses with a few strikes there.

Burnett misses with a takedown attempt - Kaizer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kaizer goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Burnett shoots for a takedown but Kaizer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kaizer misses with a series of wild punches.
Burnett shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kaizer as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Frike moves into the clinch. Frike lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Harris has Frike pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Harris pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Frike tumbling to the mat - Harris dives into Frike's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Harris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Frike keeping full guard, as Harris tries to pass. Frike might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Harris is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Frike is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Frike has escaped and now he's on top! Frike missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frike is looking to advance position but Harris has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Frike on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Frike tries to get out of the position. Harris is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Frike is surviving well by controlling Harris's body position as best he can. Harris looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Harris swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice looks to score with a jab to the body but Roscrow is just out of range. Roscrow throws a series of strikes that have Slice backpedaling.
It looks like Kimbo Slice has been cut. Perry Roscrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roscrow tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Slice wants to clinch up but Roscrow keeps it at a distance. Roscrow misses with a wild combination.
Roscrow scores with a jab to the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roscrow tries to work over Slice's front leg with a kick but Slice checks it. Roscrow throws a leg kick but Slice sees it coming and checks it nicely. Slice moves to clinch but Roscrow breaks away and Roscrow counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A bone on bone clash there as Slice blocks the leg kick.
Roscrow lands a glancing blow to the side of Slice's head. Roscrow showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slice.

Slice looks winded! Roscrow scores with a jab to the body. Roscrow lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Slice at a distance.
A left and a right from Roscrow both land. Nice combination.

Roscrow gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Slice is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Perry Roscrow! Perry Roscrow bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

And that's the end of the fight! Danny Hendo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hendo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
