Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ron Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Erik Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ron Paul has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ron Paul seems to be OK! 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Erik Andersen! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul drives through and clinches with Andersen against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nurminen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rock moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rock on the wrong end of a nice hook. A solid leg kick lands there for Rock.
Nurminen misses with a wild body shot. Rock takes a swing at Nurminen's ribcage but misses. Nurminen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rock. Rock misses with a hook. Nurminen ducked under it nicely. Rock slips a jab from Nurminen. Nurminen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nurminen throws a lazy right hand but Rock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nurminen misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warfist misses the shot to the body. Jackson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. "I'm sorry" says Warfist. Jackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Warfist takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jackson looks for the body kick but Warfist saw that one coming. Warfist checks the leg kick. Warfist uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Warfist lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Johnny Jackson has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Warfist manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A good leg kick by Jackson.

Scotty Bennet decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
