The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker lands the left hand.

It looks like trent heskett has been cut.
heskett shoots in but Striker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Striker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. heskett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Striker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
trent heskett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Striker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck for heskett with that takedown attempt.
heskett shoots in looking for a takedown. Striker tries to sprawl out of it but heskett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Striker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Booga breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

I think Heke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to She Hates Me. The key to victory for Jake Heke has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Tarasov shoots in for a double leg but Heke sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Tarasov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Heke tries to avoid it but Tarasov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Heke to the ground. Heke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jake Heke will probably get the nod.

Heke is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Tarasov flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Tarasov is out cold! Heke holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
