 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huang fails with a takedown attempt. Bourne thows a body shot but no joy. Bourne shoots in but no luck this time. Huang gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bourne decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Huang's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bourne tries to free his leg and advance position but Huang is retaining full guard. Bourne stopping the sweep attempt from Huang. Bourne tries to free his leg and advance position but Huang is retaining full guard. Huang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huang has his hands on Bourne's head, controlling the position. Huang is trying to keep Bourne in close.

 The ref stands the fighters back up. Kevin Huang was stalling too much, according to the referee.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Huang is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bourne controls Huang momentarily but Huang frees himself. Huang passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wind Field (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Crain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Field kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Rains of Castamere -The National. Wind Field had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. On his way into the cage it seems that Wind Field has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wind Field seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crain's jab looks to have found its range, popping Field under the eye. Field looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Crain buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Crain. That's going to slow Field down. Crain moves into range and connects with a jab. Crain misses with an uppercut. Field blocks a jab. Crain feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Field's calf. Sloppy strikes from Crain. Those never looked like landing. Crain throws a shot to the body.
Crain bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Field's head. Crain scores with a leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Field on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Timmy Crain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Field takes a body punch but keeps moving.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Crain there. Crain misses the shot to the body. Crain connects with a leg kick. Field looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Crain throws a body kick that misses. Crain scores with a nice right hand.
 Field is rocked! Crain throws an overhand right that drops Field like a sack of potatoes! Crain dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Clay has got one arm under Barett's chin. This could be trouble... Barett trying to control the other hand but Clay gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Barett has tapped out! The fight is over!

Constrictor has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Tucker moves in looking to clinch but Constrictor pushes him off. Constrictor tries to bum rush Tucker with a series of wild strikes but Tucker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tucker rushes Constrictor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Constrictor's face as he tries to break the clinch. Tucker is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tucker.

Cold bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Nyamondi tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cold has knee on belly and moves into mount. Cold controlling from mount. Cold can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nyamondi is looking to escape. Nyamondi in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Nyamondi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cold pulls his head out easily. Cold missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Nyamondi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Cold wants to stand but Nyamondi is controlling his posture from full guard.
Cold drops back, looking for a kneebar! Nyamondi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Nyamondi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nyamondi!

Nyamondi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cold has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nyamondi but great work by Cold. Cold postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Nyamondi has one of Cold's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Cold wants to stand but Nyamondi has his arm trapped. Nyamondi wants to control but Cold postures up. Nyamondi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nyamondi is looking to improve his position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cold throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Nyamondi to regain full guard. Cold being controlled here momentarily. Nyamondi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Dudek keeps control of Krios as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Krios throws a punch but it's blocked by Dudek. Still in the clinch, Dudek scores with a nice short uppercut. Krios tries to work over Dudek's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Dudek with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Dudek tries to throw a body punch but Krios avoids it by throwing Dudek back against the cage. Dudek prevents a body shot from Krios. A short right from Krios on the inside. Dudek keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Krios's efforts to push away. Dudek blocking some punches.

This has been an exciting period of action! Krios wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Dudek pushes Krios back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Dudek lands a good knee to the midsection. Dudek tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krios swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dudek is looking to clinch but Krios is avoiding it.

and Dudek counters with a good low kick that Krios was not able to check. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dudek.
Dudek connects with a good right hand that stumbles Krios. Krios circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Dudek thuds his right hand into Krios's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Krios is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Dudek scores with a leg kick.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A kick lands to the mid section there for Dudek. Dudek turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Dudek throws a looping overhand right but Krios ducks down to avoid it. Dudek dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dudek displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Krios misses with a straight right. Both fighters circling a little - Dudek finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A chopping leg kick lands by Dudek. Dudek throws a hook but Krios blocks it. Krios throws the left hand but Dudek avoids the punch easily. Dudek on the wrong end of a nice jab.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dudek lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Thane Krios has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Christian Dudek is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. A quick uppercut on the inside from Krios.
And that's the end of the fight! Christian Dudek comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dudek has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Lewis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Snoop DoGG. Putnam has chosen tap out as his entrance music. Ronnie Putnam told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis gets the takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Putnam is trying to improve his position. The ground and pound from Lewis seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Lewis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lewis with the ground and pound but Putnam regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Lewis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Putnam sees it coming and defends easily. Putnam trying to control from the bottom.
Lewis is looking for a kimura but Putnam is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lewis to get the leverage.

Lewis is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Putnam to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Lewis trying to move into half guard but instead Putnam has managed to sweep! Putnam wants to control from the top but Lewis keeps moving.
Lewis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Putnam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Putnam manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Putnam trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Putnam accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lewis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Lewis jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Putnam is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Putnam and Lewis has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Putnam wants to get back to his feet but Lewis drags him back down. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Putnam is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lewis wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Putnam, who protects the arm well.
Lewis swings around for an armbar but Putnam sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lewis's guard. Lewis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lewis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Putnam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Putnam throwing strikes from guard but Lewis blocks nicely.
Putnam wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Lewis's closed guard. He's half up but Lewis has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Lewis pivots and extends the arm, Putnam falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Lewis! Well done that man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sanex Lewis! A very excited looking Sanex Lewis rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zebub lands a nice looking body kick. Nevsky gets cracked there but stands up to it.
 It looks like Alexander Nevsky has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nevsky doesn't manage to clinch there - Zebub circles away.
Zebub clinches up with Nevsky and pushes him back against the cage.
Zebub breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nevsky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zebub can pounce on him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Zebub. That's going to slow Nevsky down. Nevsky is breathing heavily. A solid leg kick lands there for Zebub.
Zebub lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Zebub looks to land a right hand but Nevsky moved out of range. Nevsky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Zebub. Zebub feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Nevsky collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Baal Zebub! Baal Zebub is the new light heavyweight champion! During a confident post fight interview, Baal Zebub thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
