26 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davi Alves! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Magnar. Alves throws a sloppy head kick and Magnar moves out of range easily. Alves is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Magnar's half guard. Alves misses with a head shot. Magnar uses the momentum to regain guard. Alves trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Magnar manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Alves manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Magnar manages to get himself to full guard.
Alves throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Magnar works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magnar has control of Alves's left arm, preventing Alves from doing any damage. Alves makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Magnar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Alves working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Alves is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Magnar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Magnar has escaped and now he's on top! Alves has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Alves wants to sweep but no luck. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer tries to land a front kick but Brock steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Brock gets tackled into the cage by Archer. Archer maintains the clinch. Brock throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Archer misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brock uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Archer. Archer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brock's head. Archer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Archer lands a glancing blow to the side of Brock's head. The fight stays on the outside here - Archer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Brock rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Archer counter with a right hand. Archer closes the distance but Brock moves to the side and Brock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brock misses with a straight left. Mason Archer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Archer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brock moves away. Brock connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Archer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brock's sensitive parts. Mason Archer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Archer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Brock displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Archer throws out the jab. Archer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A left lands for Brock. Nice defenses there by Archer. An inside leg kick lands from Archer. Archer connects with a body shot that sends Brock's belly button to the back. Brock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Brock misses with a lunging right hand
and Archer finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Brock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Archer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Archer was well out of range. Poor timing from Brock. An inside leg kick lands from Archer. Brock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Archer moves away. Brock connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Archer thows a left - swing and a miss! A low kick from Archer is predictable there and Brock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Brock throws a jab but it's blocked by Archer. Brock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Archer is trying to control Brock's posture but Brock avoids it. Archer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brock working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Archer is trying to work for a sweep but Brock has mounted him! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Archer is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Brock lands a heavy elbow. Archer regains half guard. Brock throwing shots but Archer is blocking nicely. Brock controlling the pace. Brock throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brock throws a strike but Archer avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Archer is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Archer trying to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Eddie Brock will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer throws a hook to the side of Brock's head but Brock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Archer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Archer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brock looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Brock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brock trying to control the action but Archer is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nice strikes from Brock there. Brock is trying to control. Archer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Well, if Brock is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Archer ducks right into an uppercut from Brock. Archer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Archer is looking to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Brock dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mason Archer's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Archer moves out of range as Brock strikes. Archer misses with an uppercut. Brock saw that one coming. Archer misses with a right hand and Brock counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Archer's guard now. Brock distracts Archer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Archer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Brock postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brock throws a strike but Archer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Brock lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Archer! Archer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brock is in the full mount, landing strikes. Brock lands a big shot to the head and Archer winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Eddie Brock! After winning the bout, Eddie Brock thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Good shot there by Grant. Grant dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tua. That did some damage! Grant looks to score with a jab to the body but Tua is just out of range. Tua swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Buck Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anaconda works the jab nicely. Blaze swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Blaze throws a right hand that Anaconda ducks under and follows up with a left that Anaconda also avoids with ease. Blaze throws a right and a left that both miss. Blaze throws a leg kick which misses Anaconda's front leg but catches the back leg as Anaconda tries to avoid it. Anaconda takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blaze decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Blaze not landing any meaningful shots this time. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Waterson's guard. Nawrocki postures up in Waterson's guard and throws a big left but Waterson blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Waterson keeping moving, preventing Nawrocki from controlling successfully. Waterson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nawrocki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Nawrocki postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nawrocki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Waterson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nawrocki wants to control from the top but Waterson keeps moving.

Waterson is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nawrocki swings around for an armbar but Waterson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nawrocki's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turk cracks a nice hook into Sanchez's ribs. Turk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sanchez finds it's way round the side to connect with Turk's head. Turk throws a looping overhand right but Sanchez ducks down to avoid it. Sanchez throws a jab when Turk was well out of range. Turk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Turk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Turk scores with a jab. Sanchez acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Turk throws a jab when Sanchez was well out of range. Jab, jab by Turk - just one landing. Turk swings for the body but Sanchez moves out of range.
Sanchez throws a low kick, looking for Turk's leg but Turk calmly moves out of range. Sanchez tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turk lands an overhand right. Sanchez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Turk's hands. A telegraphed right hand from Sanchez misses the target. Sanchez gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Turk. Diego Sanchez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sanchez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Turk. Turk obviously looking to wear him down.
Turk scores with a jab to the body. Sanchez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Sanchez plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Turk connects with a single shot there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sanchez throws a leg kick but Turk sees it coming and moves out of range. Turk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanchez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Turk closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sanchez's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sanchez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sanchez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Turk regains full guard. Nicely done.

Sanchez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Turk has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sanchez has managed to get both his arms back between Turk's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It connects and Turk has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Turk tries to land a body kick and Sanchez counters with a right hand to the body. Turk bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Turk is trying to move to mount but Sanchez reverses beautifully and ends up in Turk's guard. Turk looking to control.

Turk looks to land a right hand but Sanchez moved out of range.

Turk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanchez's waist but Sanchez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turk off to one side. Sanchez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sanchez motions for Turk to come forward. Sanchez throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sanchez connects with a leg kick. Turk looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Turk works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Turk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sanchez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Turk. That did some damage! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanchez connects with a solid leg kick. Turk connects with a nice looking jab.
Sanchez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Turk checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Turk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sanchez pinned against the cage. Sanchez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That was a close second round but I would say that Braden Turk will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sanchez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Turk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sanchez but Sanchez pushes him off and we're back to square one. Turk throws a jab but it's blocked by Sanchez.

Sanchez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Turk is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Basilan avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Basilan scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Gideon Gabriel has been cut. Gideon Gabriel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Basilan cracks Gabriel with a good jab. Basilan misses with a hook. Gabriel ducked under it nicely. Some wild striking there from Gabriel.
Gabriel tries to clinch up but Basilan circles away and keeps his distance. Gabriel is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gabriel looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Basilan lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gabriel takes a step back to recover. Basilan looks to land a left hand but Gabriel moved out of range nicely.
