The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antonovich throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kyle swings for the body but Antonovich moves out of range.
Antonovich tries to land a body kick
and Kyle counters with a low kick, right behind Antonovich 's knee.
Antonovich looks to throw a body kick
and Kyle counters with a leg kick.
Antonovich throws a lazy body kick
and Kyle counters with an outside leg kick.
Antonovich is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kyle shoots in looking for a takedown. Antonovich tries to sprawl out of it but Kyle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Antonovich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kyle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Antonovich to the mat! Antonovich manages to get full guard.
Kyle advances to half guard.
Kyle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Antonovich keeps working.

Kyle decides to stand up.
Kyle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Antonovich misses with a kick to the body
and Kyle makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Antonovich stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kyle.

Kyle gets a takedown into half guard.

Kyle is taking a breather. Antonovich says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kyle is looking to take a break and control but Antonovich is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kyle uses his free foot to push down on Antonovich's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Antonovich.
Antonovich has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Antonovich is trying to remain composed but Kyle is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

Kyle has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Antonovich! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kyle gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

OH! Silva has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Santana smells blood and charges in for the finish! Santana unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Silva sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Richardson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Howlingate sprawls well. Howlingate wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Richardson gets slowly back to his feet.
