Ardona connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Sackho! He's out on his feet! Ardona rushes in and drops Sackho with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pera Detlic was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Utah punishes Detlic's body with a nice straight punch.
Utah looks to land a body kick but Detlic moved away.
Detlic throws a head kick but Utah moves out of range.
Crunch! Utah slams his shin into Detlic's torso.
Johny Utah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Utah tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Detlic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Detlic keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Detlic takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Utah tries to clinch up
and Detlic counters with a nice body shot.
Utah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Detlic tries to avoid it but Utah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Detlic to the ground. Detlic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Utah will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A combination from Detlic does no damage.
Utah wants to clinch.
Utah tries to clinch but Detlic moves away
and Detlic counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Utah closes the distance looking to clinch
and Detlic counters with a series of strikes. Utah will be more careful next time no doubt.
Utah fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Detlic manages to avoid it.

Utah lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Detlic wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Detlic tries to work over Utah's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Utah unloads a knee to the mid-section. Detlic lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Detlic tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Utah tries for a takedown but Detlic manages to get underhooks.

Utah drops Detlic with a big knee straight up the middle! Detlic is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Detlic is rocked!

Utah rushes Detlic and presses him up against the cage.
Detlic is still on wobbly legs! Can Utah finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Detlic slowing the pace effectively.
Detlic tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Utah's elbow.
Utah drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Detlic seems to have recovered his senses.
Utah jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Detlic walks away with a smile on his face. Utah gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Utah shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Detlic sprawls well. Detlic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Utah gets slowly back to his feet.
Utah cracks a nice hook into Detlic's ribs.
Detlic avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Utah fails with the takedown
and Detlic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Utah is looking to clinch.
Utah tries to clinch up but Detlic circles away and keeps his distance.
Detlic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johny Utah dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Utah ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Detlic in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
The fighters circle, before Utah throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Detlic's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Utah lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The crowd cheers as Banas lands an impressive looking overhand right. Khulagov doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Shamsudin Khulagov has been cut.
Banas lands with a cross.
Banas misses with a hook. Khulagov ducked under it nicely.
Banas throws a one two combo.
Banas lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Khulagov backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Banas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Banas keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Banas scores with a nice right hand.
Banas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Khulagov counters by clinching up.
Banas is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Khulagov is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Banas to keep the fight standing.
Banas wants to break the clinch but can't.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Khulagov is on top in guard.

Khulagov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Khulagov has gone for a leg lock! Banas slips out almost immediately though and dives into Khulagov's guard.

Banas has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Khulagov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Banas is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Khulagov pulls down on the head and he's put Banas to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Shamsudin Khulagov!
A relieved looking Shamsudin Khulagov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Loblaw counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dee's knee momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Loblaw connects with a body shot.

A big head kick from Loblaw and Dee is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Gunna Dee has been cut.
Loblaw loads up on a big left hand. Dee felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Loblaw looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Dee can't hide his disappointment, as Loblaw celebrates the victory.

Zerkle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Deckar avoids it really well and circles away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jaff Deckar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Zerkle.
Deckar ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Zerkle out cold! The fight is over!
