1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Beast! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast moves into range and clinches up with The Ripper. Nice body punch from Beast. Beast has The Ripper pushed against the cage. The Ripper looking for a takedown.
Beast pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Beast misses with the combination.
Beast gets a clinch. Beast stops a takedown attempt from The Ripper.
The Ripper is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack The Ripper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beast breaks the clinch.
Beast wants to clinch up but The Ripper keeps it at a distance.
Beast drives through and clinches with The Ripper against the cage.
The Ripper has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Beast after a bit of a struggle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The Ripper has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Beast is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The Ripper is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Beast gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Beast will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning The Ripper up against the cage. The crowd are getting on Beast's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Beast is pressed up against the cage. The Ripper has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beast down to the mat. Beast avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The Ripper misses with a wild combination.

The Ripper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Beast tries to avoid it but The Ripper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Beast to the ground. Beast escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Beast rushes The Ripper and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Come on Beast - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The Ripper has Beast pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Beast manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. The Ripper is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Beast is defending well. Beast lands a body punch in the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beast is leaning against The Ripper and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

No joy there for The Ripper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

 The Ripper is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Ripper wants a takedown.
Oh The Ripper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The Ripper goes for a takedown attempt but Beast pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Beast tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Ripper paws at him with a jab and circles away. Beast wobbles The Ripper with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Beast dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts The Ripper to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Carose enables Robinson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carose manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Carose will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Robinson trying to control but Carose is working from the bottom. Carose looking to control.
Carose working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Robinson. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Carose holds on and takes a little breather. Carose manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Robinson reaches up to try and control the position but Carose seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Robinson rolls and tries to escape and now Carose has his back!
Carose avoiding Robinson 's attempts to control his hands. Robinson is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Carose off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Acaleem shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Acaleem was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Acaleem lands a nice forearm strike. Acaleem throwing shots but missing, from side control. An elbow from Acaleem crashes against the mat.
Tal is looking to regain half guard here but Acaleem keeps moving and retains side control. Tal is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
 Tal is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Acaleem scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Tal is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Acaleem can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Grundi tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grundi postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it. Grundi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jackson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Grundi prevents Jackson from getting back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson cracks Grundi with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Grundi takes a shot to the body in his stride.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Kimble as Smirnov shoots in. Smirnov avoids the head kick by Kimble.
Kimble gets tackled into the cage by Smirnov. Smirnov maintains the clinch. Smirnov throws an elbow that misses.

Smirnov looks for a takedown but Kimble sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Smirnov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smirnov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kimble avoids it really well and circles away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kimble tries to clinch up but Smirnov circles away and keeps his distance.

He's got his arms around Smirnov's waist but Smirnov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kimble off to one side. Kimble wants to clinch and Smirnov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Smirnov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kimble avoids it really well and circles away. Kimble takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Kimble had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smirnov defends it easily. This has been an exciting period of action! Smirnov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smirnov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kimble tries to land a sweep but no joy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smirnov advances position into side control!  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foley throws a right and a left that Love avoids nicely. Foley moves into range and connects with a jab. Foley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Love looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Foley misses with a double jab.

 It looks like Quest Love has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Love lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
