Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tubbins Stewfis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewfis comes to the cage accompanied by like a hurricane!. Ross has chosen Warrent-Cherry pie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Ross! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ross misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ross rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stewfis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stewfis throws a leg kick but Ross checks it. Ross wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ross throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ross throws a series of punches but Stewfis avoids them all with ease. Ross tries to bum rush Stewfis with a series of wild strikes but Stewfis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stewfis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stewfis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ross connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stewfis scrambles back to his feet. An inside leg kick from Stewfis misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross takes a swing at Stewfis's ribcage but misses. Ross is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Stewfis just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Ross has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tubbins Stewfis! After winning the bout, Tubbins Stewfis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Sloggett. Black Scholes does a little dance to reset his feet. Sloggett tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Black Scholes counters with a shoot takedown. Sloggett fights it but they end up in guard. Black Scholes controls from within his opponent's guard. Black Scholes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Edward Black Scholes. Sloggett lands a nice hook to Black Scholes's body. Black Scholes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Sloggett fails with a takedown attempt. Black Scholes looks to throw the jab but Sloggett is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sloggett closes the distance looking to clinch and Black Scholes counters with a shoot takedown. Sloggett fights it but they end up in guard. Sloggett can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Black Scholes controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Edward Black Scholes wasn't doing enough on the ground. Sloggett shoots for a double leg takedown but Black Scholes sprawls well. He's pushed Sloggett's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No joy there for Black Scholes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Black Scholes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sloggett throws out the jab. Black Scholes misses with a two punch combination.
Sloggett tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sloggett takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloggett cracks a nice hook into Black Scholes's ribs. Sloggett throws a shot from downtown. Black Scholes moves away and avoids it. Sloggett moves to clinch but Black Scholes breaks away and Black Scholes counters with a shoot takedown. Sloggett fights it but they end up in guard. Black Scholes is standing up over Sloggett. Sloggett looks to escape but Black Scholes dives into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Black Scholes creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sloggett sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edward Black Scholes dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters circling - Black Scholes throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sloggett wants to clinch but Black Scholes slips to the side and Black Scholes counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Sloggett! Black Scholes in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sloggett is looking to get back to his feet here but Black Scholes is keeping cool and he's managed to take Sloggett's back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sloggett wants to escape the position.
Black Scholes is working the ground and pound. Can Sloggett escape? Black Scholes biding his time, controlling Sloggett. Black Scholes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloggett trying to control the hands but Black Scholes won't let him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Black Scholes shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sloggett is trying to defend but Black Scholes finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Black Scholes moves nicely into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice defenses there by Black Scholes. Sloggett feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Black Scholess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Sloggett throws a lazy uppercut
and Black Scholes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Black Scholes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Edward Black Scholes wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Black Scholes avoids the head kick by Sloggett.
Black Scholes thows a body shot but no joy. Nice defenses there by Black Scholes.

and Black Scholes counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Sloggett tries to clinch up and Black Scholes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloggett throws a big shot that misses. Sloggett swings widly with a right hand
and Black Scholes counters with a nice uppercut. Sloppy strikes from Black Scholes. Those never looked like landing. Sloggett looks to clinch and Black Scholes counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Sean Sloggett has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sloggett is trying to control but can't.
Sloggett pushes Black Scholes off but Black Scholes dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Black Scholes landing a few strikes. Edward Black Scholes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Black Scholes misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Black Scholes controlling from side mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
And that's the end of the fight! Edward Black Scholes showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Black Scholes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakobs leaves Herman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Herman moves into the clinch successfully.
Herman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jakobs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Herman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jakobs. Herman misses with a series of wild punches.
Jakobs has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jakobs blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Herman creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Herman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jakobs has him pressed against the cage. Jakobs has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Herman regains guard immediately. Jakobs decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Herman looks to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Herman tries to clinch but Jakobs is having none of it. Herman shoots in looking for a takedown but Jakobs manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Herman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pee Wee Herman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Herman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jakobs swats him away and circles back towards the center. Herman closes the distance and clinches. Herman is trying to break the clinch but Jakobs has him pressed against the cage. Herman trying to stall but Jakobs improves his position.

Herman wants to clinch but Jakobs slips to the side and Jakobs holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Herman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jakobs dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jakobs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Herman defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Herman wants to clinch and Jakobs counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jakobs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jakobs blocks an elbow strike. Jakobs avoiding damage as Herman throws knees to the body.
Jakobs has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Herman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Herman is trying to maintain a safe position but Jakobs gets an underhook and turns Herman into the cage. Herman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Herman doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Herman throws a punch but it's blocked by Jakobs. Herman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jakobs is defending well for now. Herman jumps guard but Jakobs stands there with Herman around his waist. Herman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jakobs - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Jakobs escapes and gets back to his feet. Herman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Herman wants to clinch up but Jakobs keeps it at a distance. Herman gets a clinch. Herman struggles to land a body shot inside as Jakobs controls his hands.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Seth Jakobs! After the fight, Seth Jakobs was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

No joy for Stop on that attempt. Stop fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Howell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stop tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Howell defends well and Stop ends up having to push Howell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. The ref is looking closely - Stop is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Stop is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. It looks like Kirkness Tw is going to stand back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeremy throws an overhand right that lands on Lawal's shoulder, as Lawal tries to avoid the shot. Lawal with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jeremy to score with a decent uppercut. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lawal has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Ron Jeremy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jeremy misses with a lunging right hand
and Lawal counters with a head kick. That will keep Jeremy thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Lawal fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cramdon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cramdon showed some decent athleticism there. Cramdon seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bird wants the takedown. Cramdon is fighting it off but Bird persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cramdon's guard against the cage. Bird avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cramdon has his foot on Bird's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bird works his way back into a safe position though. This has been an exciting period of action! Cramdon wants to sweep here but Bird controlling him for the moment. Bird looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
