8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, brick wall! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! wall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from wall. The fight stays on the outside here - weight looks like he's thinking about clinching though. wall closes this distance looking for a takedown but weight circles away. weight tries to close the distance and clinch but wall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. weight keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. heavy weight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of brick wall. weight shoots and misses and wall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. wall wants to get up but he can't break weight's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. wall is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. weight is working an open guard so wall takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. wall looks gassed! weight misses with a head kick.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. wall is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst weight is controlling him. weight wants to get up but he can't break wall's closed guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! wall is staying active underneath weight, who seems content to just control the action from this position. weight working over wall with some ground and pound. wall looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! punch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. pit lands a decent shot there. pit has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. pit wriggles free and stands up. punch misses with a head kick.
pit closes the distance and pushes punch back into the ropes. pit avoids the elbow strike from punch, against the ropes.
pit is pressed up against the ropes. punch has hold of a leg and is looking to drag pit down to the mat. pit avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Nice takedown defense from punch. No joy for pit on that attempt. pit rushes punch and presses him up against the ropes. punch goes for a takedown attempt but pit pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

punch gets caught flat footed, as pit shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. punch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. pit throwing strikes but missing. pit drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. pit seems to have locked his on tight now - punch screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for pit, as he picks up the win!

An inside leg kick lands from power. power keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. star will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. star misses the shot to the body. power tries to close the distance and clinch up but star swats him away and circles back towards the center. star takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
power lands with a thumping leg kick.
power scores a takedown into full mount! power wants to finish this one by submission but star is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from power. power can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as star is looking to escape. power with good strikes from the mount here! power blocks star's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

That didn't work out too well for power. power is looking for a sweep.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. star stands up. power shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts star as he jumps to the side. power defends well against a solid takedown attempt from star. star rushes power and presses him up against the ropes. star drags the fight down to the ground.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. power loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. power wanted to stand there but star had control of the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. star lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like small power has been cut. power gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and star holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that quick star will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on small power's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and star moves into the clinch. star tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. power just stands there and leans against the ropes. power is trying to break free. star keeps control of power as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. star is fighting off a takedown attempt but power is just too persistent for him and manages to trip star to the mat. star regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. star is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. power tries to free his leg and advance position but star is retaining full guard. power takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. star looking to hit a scissor sweep but power is one step ahead there. star is controlling power's posture. power trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. power postures up in star's guard and throws a big left but star blocks it. power pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. star is keeping the position for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. power swats away the attempt to clinch by star. power looks to land a combination but star avoids it well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. power closes the distance but star moves to the side and star holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. power wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. power is looking to control star's arms but star gets an underhook and turns him. Now power has his back to the ropes. power goes for a takedown in the clinch but star prevents it.
power's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. power shoots in but star avoids the takedown attempt easily. star shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says power as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for quick star. That's going to take a lot out of him. star shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has power pinned against the cage. power gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. star tries for a takedown but power circles away easily and power cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. star tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but power paws at him with a jab and circles away. power throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. small power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. power throws a hook to the side of star's head but star sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. power wants to clinch but star slips to the side and star counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. star prevents power from breaking the clinch. star pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. star tries to clinch up but power circles away and keeps his distance. star closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - star lands in his opponent's guard. star preventing the sweep. power wants to hit a switch here but star passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for power there! star manages to capitalize on a mistake by power to take his back! star controlling from the back. star doesn't have the hooks in and power manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. power decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on star, up you get! power throws a sloppy head kick and star counters with a takedown into side control. power is not in a great position here, taking some shots. star wants to control but power is keeping him busy. power is looking for a sweep. star moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. power tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. power is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demon shoots in looking for a takedown. Podolsky tries to sprawl out of it but Demon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Podolsky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Demon misses with a takedown attempt - Podolsky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Podolsky closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Podolsky lands in his opponent's guard. Podolsky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Podolsky is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Demon wants to sweep here but Podolsky controlling him for the moment. Podolsky lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demon is trying to keep Podolsky in close.
Podolsky drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Podolsky as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Demon screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Podolsky! Nice submission victory there!
