The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Verbana lands a head shot. Verbana fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Doe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Doe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Verbana is trying to defend but Doe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Doe is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Doe is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Doe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Verbana sees it coming and defends easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ganesha swats away the attempt to clinch by Tiny. Tiny closes the distance looking to clinch and Ganesha counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Tiny closes the distance but Ganesha moves to the side and Ganesha counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Boo Tiny has been cut. Tiny moves to clinch but Ganesha breaks away and Ganesha counters with a straight right hand. Tiny closes the distance and pushes Ganesha back into the ropes. Tiny lands an elbow just above Ganesha 's eye.
It looks like Lord Ganesha has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Tiny lands a nice elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ganesha tries to work over Tiny's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Tiny throws an elbow that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Ganesha fails to land. Ganesha blocks the elbow strike.
Tiny lands an elbow just above Ganesha 's eye. Tiny lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Lord Ganesha's cut is getting worse. Tiny lands an elbow inside. With the fighters up against the ropes, Tiny throws an elbow but misses. Ganesha takes an elbow to the temple.
Lord Ganesha's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Ganesha takes an elbow to the temple. Ganesha wants to break free but Tiny has control.
Tiny creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ganesha's defenses.
Jeez, Lord Ganesha's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lord Ganesha's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Boo Tiny! Post fight, an emotional Boo Tiny said 'I always thought the removal of toes with a bolt cutter was rather humaine '.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raines swats away the attempt to clinch by Leben. Raines lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Leben looks to clinch and Raines counters with a shoot takedown. Leben fights it but they end up in guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Leben preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Raines postures up in Leben's guard and throws a big left but Leben blocks it. Raines is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Raines trying to control the position from guard on top but Leben is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leben can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Raines controls the pace. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Raines throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leben keeping moving, preventing Raines from controlling successfully. Raines advances to half guard. Raines maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Leben could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Raines has cracked it and Leben is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Raines!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Reno Raines! Reno Raines is the new super heavyweight champion! Reno Raines tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
