The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayabusa avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

It looks like Ryu Hayabusa has been cut.
Hayabusa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bug paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That kick from Bug tenderised Hayabusa's leg. Hayabusa is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bug dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hayabusa. That did some damage!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bug drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Hayabusa onto his butt! Hayabusa pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

Bug cracks Hayabusa with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Hayabusa is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Hayabusa is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Bug connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bug swats away the attempt to clinch by Hayabusa.
Bug has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MagicalFatFarm in the buildup to the fight.
Hayabusa avoids the head kick by Bug.
Bug connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Hayabusa's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Hayabusa - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
