MacGyver has instead reached around Khaiseb's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! MacGyver arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Carrier shoots in for a takedown but Hughes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hughes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hughes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hughes is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Carrier looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hughes gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Carrier is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hughes lets go of the hold and Carrier can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Skayias throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shamrock stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Antonis Skayias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shamrock dives in and grabs Skayias's left leg, looking for a takedown. Skayias pushes down on Shamrock's head and hops out.
Skayias seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Skayias throws a left that rocks Shamrock and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Skayias dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Shamrock regain composure!

Skayias cracks Shamrock with an uppercut from hell and Shamrock crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Skayias's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Fanco postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bezoink is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fanco, into his guard.

Kane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
