We've been hearing good reports from Jones's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Carneiro fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Garcia to the ground. Carneiro is now in Garcia's guard.

Carneiro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Carneiro trying to control the position from guard on top but Garcia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Carneiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garcia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Carneiro pushes down on Garcia's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Garcia is staying active underneath Carneiro, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Garcia can do anything to dispel that myth.

Carneiro seems to be working for a kimura but Garcia defends the submission attempt.

Carneiro has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Garcia defend it? Carneiro steps over the head and cranks it - Garcia is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Carneiro!

Geordie St Pearce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eaton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by St Pearce.
Eaton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiko Zeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Tyson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aiko Zeus was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zeus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tyson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zeus - the referee stops the clock and Tyson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zeus. Tyson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Zeus lands a leg kick that knocks Tyson off balance momentarily.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Tyson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Tyson will probably get the nod.

The crowd cheers as Zeus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tyson doesn't seem phased though.
Zeus feints a jab promting Tyson to slip. Zeus then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tyson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
