The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia scores with a hook. Garcia looks to throw the jab but Pereira is out of range. Pereira looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Garcia leaves Pereira with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Garcia cracks Pereira with an open hand slap.
It looks like Ulysses Pereira has been cut. Pereira bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Pereira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garcia swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pereira fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Emilio Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ulysses Pereira. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Garcia looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Garcia throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Pereira tumbling to the canvas!
Pereira is rocked! Garcia postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Pereira covers up, he's hurt! Garcia keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Garcia and the ref steps in to end the fight! Garcia can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darvin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dos Santos was covering up waiting for the punch and Darvin finishes the takedown easily into guard. Darvin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Darvin won't allow Dos Santos to get back to his feet. Darvin is looking to work some ground and pound but Dos Santos has wrist control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Darvin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dos Santos uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Dos Santos throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Darvin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dos Santos circles away. Dos Santos turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Dos Santos stuffs the takedown attempt from Darvin. Darvin gets slowly back to his feet. Dos Santos misses with a few strikes there.

Darvin pushes Dos Santos against the cage but Dos Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dos Santos. Darvin shrugs it off though. Dos Santos scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Nice body punch from Dos Santos. Dos Santos keeps the fight on the outside. Finly Darvin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice inside leg kick there by Dos Santos. That's going to slow Darvin down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dos Santos lands with a straight right. Darvin didn't see that one coming. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Dos Santos moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Dos Santos moves into the clinch. Dos Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Darvin avoids a punch combination nicely.

Darvin with a poor takedown and Dos Santos counters with a left and a right that stings Darvin. Darvin with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Dos Santos to counter with a crisp jab. Dos Santos scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Darvin moves away from the strike by Dos Santos. Darvin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dos Santos counters with a shoot takedown. Darvin fights it but they end up in guard. Dos Santos postures up.

Darvin is working an open guard so Dos Santos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Darvin dives in and grabs Dos Santos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dos Santos pushes down on Darvin's head and hops out. Darvin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Darvin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Darvin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Darvin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Senior Dos Santos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Darvin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dos Santos.

Dos Santos is trying to control the position but Darvin postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Senior Dos Santos showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dos Santos has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saint feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Carnage looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Saint puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Carnage tries to get to full guard but Saint has control of the leg.
