The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Satriani slips a jab and a cross from Hansen.
Satriani shoots in for a double leg but Hansen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hansen has a takedown stuffed.
Hansen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Satriani doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hansen counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Satriani is pushing Hansen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Hansen is trying to force a seperation but Satriani has the dominant position.
Satriani is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hansen to keep the fight standing.

and Hansen counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Satriani badly! He tries to strike back but Hansen puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Satriani out cold! Oh man, Satriani will never hear the end of this one!

Jobert Sucaldito told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Hero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sucaldito swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Sucaldito lands a left and a right that send Hero crashing to the mat, dazed. Sucaldito thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Chris Hero has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sucaldito lands with a nice body punch.
Sucaldito throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hero.
Hero takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sucaldito connects with a body shot.

Stove lands a leg kick that knocks Coombes off balance momentarily.

Coombes is trying desperately to land a takedown but Stove is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Coombes.

Stove cracks Coombes with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Stove has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Coombes to stand back up!

Steffan Stove is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stove lands with a kick to the ribs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stove.
BOOM! Stove lands a beautiful left hook that drops Coombes. Coombes tries to recover but Stove is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Coombes lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Henderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sharpe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
