Main event

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rampage kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the ring it seems that Willie Wonka has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Willie Wonka seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonka shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Wonka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wonka throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Wonka.

It looks like Willie Wonka has been cut.
Wonka scores with a leg kick.
Wonka throws a head kick that misses.
Wonka closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Wonka pushes Jackson against the ropes but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Quinton Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wonka thows a left - swing and a miss!

Wonka throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wonka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wonka.
Wonka lands with an overhand left.
Wonka fails with the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Quinton Jackson will probably get the nod.

Wonka dodges the punch combination from Jackson.

and Wonka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Wonka is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wonka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jackson wants to stand but Wonka is controlling the position.

Wonka throws a big right hand that misses.
Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wonka wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A jab from Wonka does it's job there.
Jackson misses the shot to the body.
Jackson throws the left hand but Wonka avoids the punch easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wonka throws a lazy right hand but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jackson misses with a double jab

and Wonka counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jackson won't be happy with that.
Wonka trying to control the position but Jackson is working away.
Jackson pushes Wonka away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wonka gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Wonka throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Wonka is working to tighten is grip on Jackson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jackson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wonka is really squeezing tight and eventually Jackson passes out! Wonka breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Willie Wonka!
