The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pride looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well. Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pride circles away. Pride gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch. Pride gets underhooks to prevent Silva's takedown attempt.

A lazy left from Pride finds it's target. Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pride connects with a right hand. Silva shakes it off. Pride sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pride misses with a head kick.

He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnett shoots and misses enabling Huerta to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Leon Barnett has been cut. Huerta dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Barnett doesn't succeed with the takedown and Huerta decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Barnett's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Huerta thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Huerta postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barnett is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Huerta, into his guard. Barnett throws an elbow that misses. Huerta uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Barnett's guard. Nice move by Huerta!
That's one minute gone in the round. Huerta drops back, looking for a kneebar! Barnett looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Barnett looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Barnett! Barnett goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Huerta has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Barnett but great work by Huerta. Huerta working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Huerta tries for a kimura but Barnett is defending well. Huerta is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Barnett is trying to escape and Huerta transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Barnett is forced to tap! Nice work there by Huerta! Very nice indeed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akins throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Akins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Akins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Washington, pushing him back against the cage. Washington pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Washington scores with a jab to the jaw. Akins shoots for a double leg takedown but Washington sprawls well. He's pushed Akins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Akins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Washington pinned against the cage. Washington gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Washington wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Akins dives in and grabs Washington's left leg, looking for a takedown. Washington pushes down on Akins's head and hops out. Gabriel Washington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Akins. Washington scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Akins throws a sloppy head kick and Washington moves out of range easily. Akins looks winded! Washington cracks Akins with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Akins looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Washington finish him?
Michael Akins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Akins dives in and grabs Washington's left leg, looking for a takedown. Washington pushes down on Akins's head and hops out. Washington clinches up with Akins and pushes him back against the cage. Washington is pressed up against the cage. Akins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Washington down to the mat. Washington avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Washington blocks a low kick nicely. Washington ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Akins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Washington avoids it really well and circles away. Washington gets in close and instigates a clinch. A right hand to the body from Washington.

Jab by Washington. Gabriel Washington is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Akins takes the fight into the clinch. Akins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Washington escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Akins is rocked! Washington sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Akins's defenses. It connects perfectly with Akins's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Espada punishes Urutaka's body with a nice straight punch. Urutaka pushes Espada up against the cage in a clinch. Espada can't find room to land a body shot as Urutaka controls the action.
Espada tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Urutaka tries for a takedown but Espada manages to get underhooks.
Urutaka lands a body punch. Urutaka blocking some punches.
Urutaka gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Espada regains guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Urutaka drops back for a leg! Espada lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Espada. Urutaka avoids a punch combination nicely.

Espada staggers backwards, shaken. Espada bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Urutaka's head backwards. Espada lands with a big left! Urutaka is wobbled badly! Espada comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Urutaka to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ryan Reeves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from Reeves. No joy for Gracie on that attempt. Gracie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Reeves - that will leave a mark!

Reeves thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gracie if he has to take too many more of those.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow shoots in and drives through. Barboza sprawls well. Snow blocks the body kick.
Barboza goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Barboza swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barboza lets loose with a powerful body kick. Snow will feel that in the morning. Barboza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Barboza tries to land a front kick but Snow steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Snow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Snow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barboza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Snow has managed to get both his arms back between Barboza's legs - danger averted. Barboza looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, LT Rogers! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rogers closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Harris's guard. Rogers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Harris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rogers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Harris being controlled here, momentarily. Rogers pushing down on Harris's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Harris wants to control but Rogers is keeping busy and won't allow it. Harris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rogers is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Harris definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rogers stalling. Harris blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rogers. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rogers in particular looking to stall.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rogers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rogers throwing strikes but missing. Harris trying to keep a closed guard but Rogers is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogers wants to pass the guard but Harris is keeping the position. Rogers in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Harris looking to control.
Rogers slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harris is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Rogers is putting a hurting on Harris here, landing some big shots from side control. Rogers stands up and we're back to a striking position. Rogers fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rogers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rogers looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Harris trying to hold on to Rogers's head to control him but Rogers postures up.
Harris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rogers pulls his head out easily. Rogers takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Harris tries to get to full guard but Rogers has control of the leg. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rogers connects with a nice short shot to Harris's temple.

Rogers decides to stand and escape the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris scores with a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Rogers misses the target. Harris stuffs the takedown. Harris goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Rogers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Harris is fending him off so far but Rogers persists. Nope, Harris circles away and we're back to standing. Ron Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LT Rogers. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rogers lands with a right hand. The fighters circling - Rogers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rogers shoots for a takedown but Harris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harris fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rogers. Harris tries to sprawl but Rogers drives through with a takedown into half guard. Rogers is stalling here. Harris is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rogers seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Harris has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Rogers is looking to regain half guard here but Harris keeps moving and retains side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Rogers!

Harris moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rogers has worked his arm free - good work by Rogers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogers throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Harris follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Harris throws a half hearted mid kick. Harris slips a jab from Rogers. Harris gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rogers. LT Rogers seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Rogers goes for a double leg but Harris avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Harris continues to drive forward. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Harris is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rogers to keep the fight standing. Harris tries to pull guard but Rogers forces him back to his feet, against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
LT Rogers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ron Harris's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Rogers is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Harris will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rogers working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Harris is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rogers is aware though and is defending well. Harris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rogers is one step ahead there. Rogers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. LT Rogers is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris is working an open guard so Rogers takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Rogers scores with a jab to the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harris takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Harris misses with a head kick.

Wojtk's entrance music is Lunatic Fringe, Red Rider. A fine choice. Butkiss has chosen Mama said as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butkiss is looking to clinch but Wojtk is avoiding it.
Damon Wojtk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wojtk scores with a one two! Butkiss had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Wojtk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Butkiss. Wojtk swats away the attempt to clinch by Butkiss. Butkiss tries to bum rush Wojtk with a series of wild strikes but Wojtk uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Butkiss is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Butkiss lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Butkiss. A right-left combo lands from Wojtk. This has been an exciting period of action! Wojtk misses the shot to the body. Wojtk stuffs the takedown. Butkiss showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wojtk.
Butkiss feints a jab promting Wojtk to slip. Butkiss then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wojtk slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Wojtk throws a nice looking combination but Butkiss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wojtk swings for the body but Butkiss moves out of range.
Butkiss darts in looking for a takedown but Wojtk gets double underhooks and turns Butkiss into the cage. Butkiss breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Butkiss looks winded!

Wojtk throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Butkiss colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Wojtk as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Butkiss is left battered and dazed whilst Wojtk and his camp cheer!
